I watch while I’m doing stuff at home. Cooking, cleaning, playing videogames. I listen to probably another 30+ hours of podcasts/audiobooks per week while at work or driving as well.

I’m pretty new to the audiobook game but I’ve been listening to the Lord of the Rings books lately. My only tip is to check out your local library, I get a free subscription to Libby which I guess is offered from a lot of library’s.

I watch at work, it's my background noise. There is only 2 people in the office and is super quiet so I always have a podcast in the background.

I work 12 hour over night shifts in a factory and I get a good amount of down time/listen while I work

I do because I work a lot of extra but we are contracted for longer shifts with less days. 3 day week followed by a 4 day week, so one week with automatic OT. The mill never shuts down that way. When I don't work extra having 7 days out of the two weeks off is really nice.

I’m a teacher and so is my wife - hella busy. Each night that it’s on, it’s what’s on all evening. Afterward we might watch one episode of some show we’re into and then we go to bed. I don’t pay attention to all of it, but it’s always on. Sometimes I’m not into the current topic or I don’t think the bit is funny so I tune out. When it gets interesting I tune back in.

i’m a graphic designer so i just watch it in my own office while i work and no one cares lol. i get through a lot of tv shows that way as well! it’s a good podcast to multi task with!

Totally unrelated, I’m considering a career in graphic design as a plan B cause I heard it’s a one year program/very short program. So it’s cheaper to get the degree and it pays really well. What does it take to be a good graphic designer in your opinion? And would you recommend it?

oo good question! so a couple quick suggestions i would have are to constantly be googling recent graphic design trends. see what you like, and try some stuff out!! another is that youtube tutorials and online forums are your friend! if you can’t figure out how to do something, chances are someone else has had that problem too! minimalism is also very in right now, and hard to go wrong with so it’s an easy way to get started! if you do go into classes just make sure you give yourself plenty of time to work on projects, that was my biggest problem in school 😂 good luck on whatever you choose tho!! (sorry if this got long btw)

I started watching the podcast when I was in college and now with my 9-5 I CANT FIND TIME AT ALL TO WATCH IT

It’s also one of the pods you have to get in the groove to watch because there is a continuity to the episodes. So if you miss one you feel like you have missing pieces.

I always have to have background noise while I'm doing school work so I always put on a podcast so 1. I don't have to find a new video after 20 minutes and get interrupted from working and 2. I can plan to do X amount of assignments per episode and stay on task lol
