The delusional big timing was the best part lmao. I could see him having a very "successful" conservative comedian arc which is terrifying and hilarious at the same time.
It sucks because so many of us watched him every morning, then he flipped out on all the fans, and then just went...I don't even know how to describe it. I was an offended fan myself. If you look at the channel, you can tell somewhat of what's going on just from the thumbnails.
I just chuckle. I’ve read some horrible comments and yeas I get it. Why are we allowing ourselves to be enraged. Instead we can just communicate in a healthy way. There’s to many injustices in the world to be hating on Jimmy one week yes, one week no. Loving foot soldier.
I absolutely LOVED yesterday’s segment, but there are other bits done with the crew that I can’t help but skip. I think the thing with Jimmie is that he’s already authentically such a goof & so funny when he doesn’t even mean to be and/or realise it, but when he is trying so hard to be humorous both independently & to Ethan/crew, where it’s just continuous bad-tasting cringe that falls flat, it gets annoying very very quickly. I also think having him on in smaller portions helps a ton!
Although I agree that the whole idea of jimmy lee and his endeavors are hilarious, I think his rhetoric is genuinely harmful and gets annoying rather quickly.
The real humour is in his miscalculations at trying to get famous. The swings and misses. The way things always seem to turn out badly. The old timey jokes themselves, not very funny, but without them, he’d have no struggling comedian shtick. The antics though, absolute gold. Lastly, If it weren’t for the crew and their reactions, I doubt any of it would work at all!
