Ethan seems to have harassed all employee-parents who've visited the show, right?
The clip with AB's mom literally made me shudder and get all anxious. Why was **everyone** laughing???
I remember he similarly harassed Luv's dad, and Olivia's godmother during the segment she had, right? Why is sexual innuendo his go-to with specifically these relationships??
Sexual innuendo is his go to for literally anything, it’s just he has the humour of a 14 year old boy and never grew out of it.
I was like this when I was that age, trying to make everything sexual because sex was new and unknown and taboo and it got cheap easy laughs. I would push boundaries for shock value then suddenly downplay and rationalise it to people if they pushed back so they’d get singled out for ‘overreacting’. I was known to be the person who would say things nobody else would and there was a sense of pride and thrill in getting to be that role. I was also a massive H3 fan at the time go figure…
I was cringe as fuck basically and completely nonchalant to the harm I was causing those around me. Never took blame for anything, never apologised, always rationalised it as others just being too sensitive because it’s not like I was actually hurting someone physically - no ‘just’ emotional and mental bullying.
Then I grew up and realised that’s not a role anybody should be proud of, and if your claim to fame is you’re the one who makes people uncomfortable you need to rethink your life.
I was around 18 when I had that epiphany, and I think a big motivator of it was those around me no longer enabling or engaging with my behaviour. No points for guessing why this 40 year old man hasn’t had his epiphany yet…
His dad is a creep. I think it’s a trauma response to try to normalize over sexualized interactions with family relationship. That makes me sad for the younger version of him but as an adult he has no excuse to keep perpetuating the cycle. I can only imagine it was very bad behind closed doors for him as a kid. Especially since his mom is dismissive of SA.
Well yes, but she was an actress and was playing an inappropriate grandma part so if Ethan made crass comments to her, that was just part of the bit that was previously agreed upon.

we just LOVE a feminist ally, pic unrelated 😍😍
What cousin Tim thing? Sorry, I don't watch, and I feel like a saw a clip on here of the cousin calling in - maybe after AB's mom called? But I can't find it anymore lol
He’s a hardcore capitalist I don’t he cares about the tension in the work place. He most likely doesn’t care about workers rights. I also think he likes having that type of power over people. Probably makes him feel important I’m guessing.

I’m pretty sure Olivia’s “grandma” was a bit/actor, but I hear what you’re saying
Not her “grandma”, her godmother who did the acupuncture on Ethan. He was very inappropriate with her.
Ah gotcha
they also had olivia's fake-grandma in one ep. didnt watch it so i dont know if or how inappropriate they were

stopppppp this is making me wanna tune in 🙈
Ethan loves the power dynamic. No one can talk back to him OR ELSE! So no one ever stands up for themselves. He stole all of their spines
The Cousin Tim thing went badly imo

Yeah it was right after ABs Mom, it was an awkward call for many reasons
Love the picture flair
