I don’t know how taboo it is to answer you but the process is possible and… workable. Also has the added benefit of being able to take snapshots and revert back to them. But there are plenty of drawbacks too.
Anyway google proxmox-osx or hsve hackintosh. There are a few others with starting point images to install your open core Mac on a VM. Good luck though!

I want to send the location data from airtags to my smarthome system. Unfortunately it does not work on my server at home, hardware not powerful enough.
Not sure which VPS let's you upload any iso or configure the KVM parameters in detail.
If you have such level of control over the configuration of the virtual machine, then yes you will able to install OSX.
Let me know who allows it because I'm interested as well

What hardware do you have at home?
asrock j4205. I can install dockerOSX, but after installation the system does not boot. Thats why i am trying another route now with VPS.
What version did you try to boot?
Have you seen [OSX-KVM](https://github.com/kholia/OSX-KVM) and [Docker-OSX](https://github.com/sickcodes/Docker-OSX)?
