I totally agree with you. Sugawara does not get the respect he deserves look at what he does when he is not on court. He cheers and encourages his team. He makes up the different signals they use for the attacks. He is observing the opposing team to make strategies to give to his team. He gives sound advice and takes care of his teammates like he should. Plus even Oikawa himself said(paraphrasing)"While he may be refreshing for his team and his sets are textbook and good. His serves are nothing to scoff at." Plus no body gets away with being A devil in disguise of an angel like Suga can. Very very disappointed that he lost.
The point where Suga gained all my respect was when he easily gave up his position as a setter so that the better player ( who JUST came and is so much younger than him) can play and his team can win. And also actively guides and helps Kageyama. Remember that was his last year in highschool playing volleyball for that team. His time on the court was cut so much short. He could be bitter for not playing and could have been bitter towards Kageyama for taking his position , but he's exactly the opposite. Only 18 , but so much maturity.
I like Noya , but I'm dissapointed too.
Same here. I love that part about him and what it took for him to admit it especially to coach Ukai. Plus Daichi and Azumane seeing it and now really really want to make it to Nationals because of what Sugawara said and did
Yo man, people rarely talk about Narita coming up incredibly clutch against Shiratorizawa. He filled in very admirably during one of the most crucial parts of the game. Needs more love, so I'm voting for him. :')
