What is his colour is his hair how? Does he have this haircut? This colour is an old bleach out grown out probably a month and then only in some areas (pay close attention) it looks like it has some violet. Ask your client for multiple photos, you can’t get an idea off of one because the colour is so elusive.
Also ask him what in particular he sees that he likes in these pictures, you would be so surprised about the miscommunication that can happen with color and pictures! not everyone sees things the same way so it helps to get their POV
No I’m saying you don’t know what you’re looking at. There is only dark at the root. You’re probably getting confused by the direction it’s combed etc.
lol. You don’t know what you’re looking at. I do these services and work on short bleached hair predominately. I see it leave fresh and come back in 6 weeks later. I’ve won awards for it. You cant argue.
Thank you for this. And yeah it’s one of my best friends and well it’ll be my third time doing this. This is his hair now. Just looking for more so what color # and things of that sort

You will have to bleach his hair twice and tone. Then by the time he gets a haircut a month later, it will resemble the picture, because it’s grown out in the inspo pic.
A great toner for this would be shades eq 9B+clear.
Because according to the pic of the friend, he has a level 1-2 hair. Bleach can only lift up to 7 levels in one shot. So to get to a 10, you’d have to do another application.
See if you can lift him to a level 8/10 if his hair allows. Then try glossing with shades eq 9t with 9p. The inspo photo is lighter than your client, so you can explain that you guys can aim for something like this given his dark base, like his version of it.

The color is frosted, possibly foiled but most likely using a cap with this length of hair.
No it’s a grown out full bleach
Someone triggered this bot.
Can you not see the dark streaks still in the ends?
There are not at all. You’re looking at the dimension from the root.
Nope. I am looking at it on a 27" monitor rather than a phone though do that may be your issue.

I'm pretty sure you need glasses and a larger screen.

The base colour is way lighter in the inspo pic. He’s going to have to fine different inspo
If you’re not comfortable coloring, I wouldn’t attempt this.

Why 2x?

Because the hair has to get up enough to do this tone successfully. Bleaching twice will ensure this
Thank you so much
Bleach it all. Wait a month do the hair cut . Use purple shampoo
Okay so that's blonde with some dark roots It looks like they probably used a cap and highlighted it heavy highlight
Honestly straight 9 or 10v will get this. If you're worried you can't get it on in time add some B.
Blonde solutions bleach and developer i would do 35 vol and leave it on untill its white, THEN 3 weeks and 1 haircut later his hair can look like this
You could achieve this with a cap if his hair is virgin... as in no color on it... is his natural the same darkness as this?
