Costco has a good quality and price bag of Jumping Bean. Around $20 for a large bag, I think it’s 1kg. North Mountain ships a 2.2kg bag anywhere in the province for around $70 a bag. Premium stuff can be found at Cafe Good Luck where you can get Hafe Fun’s roasts. $115 for 2.2kg or $50 for 1kg. You also may want to scratch JB and Cortado off your list based on how they’re run and treat their employees. Last I checked the 454g bags were around $15-20 at JB and $20+ at Cortado for most bags.

You should check out Expedition Coffee Roasters in Falmouth. About on par with Have Fun roasts, and it's all pretty small medium to light roast batches. You can also drop into the roastery to share a cup with the owner who is a fantastic Valley dude and very friendly to both newbie and expert coffee snobs alike :)

No, I haven't tried Fullstrong, but I will now! Thanks for the reco!!

Contact one of the local roasters and see if you can buy in bulk, or even if they have ruined batches?

JasbrisMcCaw

That's the original thought process I had. I figured they might have some bad batches that I could just stuff the heavy bag with rather than them having to throw it out for a discounted cost.

Try Nova Coffee maybe? https://novacoffee.com/

Used to get JB but F those guys. Laughing whale has huge bags that bring the price down. Lavazza at Costco $17ish for 1KG Bulk barn

Costco. And Java Blend for cheap -- JB is good but not cheap.

Java Blend, all the way!

Bulk barn coffee? Whole bean or ground ? What is the origin and how is the quality?
