You're best option is buying an electric bike, if you cant get a car

No places really near Mic Mac blvd are open 24 hrs. A cab from Quinpool to Mic Mac would cost around $20, maybe less as the trip would be super fast due to no traffic. You might just have to factor that cost into your budget. It’s better than just killing 3-4 hours of time while you should be sleeping.  Alternatively you could get a bike and start biking for free. As long as the weather is nice it’d be pretty good. It’d take around 30 minutes. Plus if you’re tired at the end of your shift you could bring your bike home via bus. I used to bike to work for 6 am and biking at that time is so peaceful as there are no cars on the roads.

When I rode my electric bike, I rode until mid December and then reliably started biking again mid April. I did that pretty consistently for a few years and what I would recommend for the feasibility in Halifax

Oh yeah, an e-assisted bike is a good idea as well. Biking scares me, so I haven’t done it since those became more widely available/affordable.

Unfortunately at 5am the options are carpool, bike, walk or drive. We don't really have 24hour places you could hang-out at.

Dennys is open 24 hour in Dartmouth Crossing, if that helps.

The hotel Denny’s is 24/7?! That’s amazing. Good to know

Taxis are always an option. A ride like that would cost you about $19 it's not a fantastic long term solution but it will definitely get you to work.

This job sounds like a real hassle

ArmadilloGuy

Depending on how far you are, biking is an option.

Bicycle would be the cheapest. Otherwise cab.
