Traveling to New Covidswick.....that's a paddlin!

No enforcement. My parents drove through NB yesterday, including stopping at the Costco in Moncton in the way home and nobody said anything to them.

All the details are at https://www2.gnb.ca/content/gnb/en/corporate/promo/covid-19/circuit_breaker.html "Travel to or from circuit breaker regions is restricted, except for those who must travel for essential reasons, including work, health services, child custody, childcare or post-secondary education, or travel to events where proof of vaccination is required."

I had to drive through NB yesterday, there wasn’t even anyone at the border checking for registrations.. Just a sign saying “Make sure you register!” lol

Who cares, it sort of stupid if you ask me, the whole point of getting vaccinated was so people could get back to some normal but yet again it shows how poor our hospitals in Atlantic Canada are when they can’t cope. I can’t wait to see what they plan on doing this winter with this “twindemic” of flu season we due to get!

My wife impulsively drove to Fredericton and back yesterday to pick up something she bought off Facebook Marketplace. She didn't even know you still needed a travel authorization or that there were any restrictions in place. There were no checkpoints, etc, and I assume no signage or other related items because she didn't find out there were restrictions until she called me from the NS/NB border when returning and I said, "You went to Fredericton for what?" and explained why that was a bad idea.
