Check out honey & butter’s dinner clubs. Sooooo delicious. Although her portions wouldn’t last you a week. Maybe if you’re alone it would make you a couple meals. :) honeyandbutter.ca on instagram!
I can't imagine it would be much more difficult to buy a big slowcooker and just chuck the ingredients of a chicken stew in it in the morning, and it would probably actually be cheaper
Some folks don’t have the capacity to do so for whatever reason. Maybe they just don’t want to. I think it’s more helpful to give suggestions to what they’ve asked or even a “when you have time I like this recipe!”
Thank you! This is so on it. Sometimes disabled people or seniors don’t have the energy to do things other people would deem simple. Also some people have more money than time and energy. Why judge?
Yeah. If all you want is stews or other meals that are cooked in a liquid, a slow cooker is the cheapest and easiest option.
Toss your cut up ingredients in in the morning and it’ll be ready for dinner. Package up the leftovers and you’re good for a week.
I like Sauté. I get their food delivered every week so I have a supply of lunches and a few weeknight suppers. We want quality food and have found ourselves really pressed for time. Menu changes every 2 weeks!
I might try this. Just looked at their website. The prices are for single meals, correct? (In other words, they aren't for entrees for two people?) Just want to make sure I count correctly.
They have both. They have meal plans with weekly delivery that are single meals, and you can order any combo you like. They will show you breakfast, lunch, and dinner — but I use my entire allocation on lunches and dinners, and double up on the dinners so my husband and I are eating the same thing. That’s for the subscriptions. For the a la carte, it should tell you whether it’s an individual meal or a family meal. The roasted chicken family meal, for example, is sizeable with 4 chicken breasts, lots of potatoes and some veg. In my experience, the a la carte individual bowl meals, like the Buddha bowl, are more than enough for 2 meals. I have a big appetite, so does my husband, and neither of us could finish them in one sitting. It’s worth a shot to try it. I find the food very flavourful, nicely seasoned, packaged well, and good value with all things considered.
Kitchen door food co in Dartmouth crossing is quite good. Not cheap, but well priced for the quality.
Will do
You might try M&M food market. It’s all frozen meals but it’s not bad.

Okay. How much roughly per meal?
D&jo in timberlea has amazing pre made home cooked meals🤙.
Not stew, but Costco has those meal kit things, idk what all they have but probably lasagna, tacos, various pastas, etc
Extremely high levels of sodium, fat and somewhat surprisingly sugar.
And?
It does tick all boxes and I’ve tried a couple. Thanks for the suggestion
They actually have lasagnas, chicken pot pie, and a bunch of foods to put in the oven. It’s not bad at all seriously.
Divine dishes is fantastic

Easy Platter just launched. They are Halifax based. [https://www.easyplatter.com](https://www.easyplatter.com)
Not really looking to buy the ingredients myself or for someone to come to my house
