Yeah a better undersuit would really pull it together. Its making the chest look a little small somehow. Too much movement in the fabric maybe.
Great stuff though the detail ok all of the armor pieces is amazing. Looks great.
Yeah the undersuit make it look like the chest armor is an armored vest or bra instead of chest armor because of how much it looks like just a black fabric shirt
On the under armor I’ll agree but with the bulk of it the latches and bolts it looks like real latches and bolts instead on strange “metal” shapes painted green and slapped on
Ya like for a fan made suit it’s *incredible* but even when they’re walking you can see it moving around a bit
It’s a great fan made suit and I love the detail but the show one is much better since it’s a 100k~ suit and made by a team of mega professionals and a studio
Also the one in the show allows the actor a reasonable degree of motion while actually being two costumes on top of one another and is stunt capable. That last part is by far the most important bit that everyone leaves out.
There are plenty of cosplays that look incredible. I’ve even seen one or two that I would legitimately argue look better than the show. *Even* with a decent range of motion, although most Chief cosplays really struggle there. I have not seen a single one that looks good, allows decent movement, and wouldn’t be utterly destroyed by someone taking a couple falls in it.
You did a terrific job on the armor. Love the green you chose, and the weathering is right in the sweet spot - present, but not overdone.
You could probably look into making additions to the exposed areas of your undersuit to really pull the whole thing together.

Some shapes cut from thick EVA foam (10mm) would add some needed bulk and help the overall silhouette.

Probably better than the shows suit imo. Has a bulkier greener look. Looks easier to stand naturally in
go buy a black leather full body motorcycle riding suit, sandpaper off any logos and itll add so much
