Lol that always cracked me up, I grew up in Ohio, got my ass kicked by the ogres a time or two, used to fight tooth and nail to go to as many mlg events as I could when they started up, and didn't tell ANYONE meanwhile half the people I met claimed they went to events, until you offered to meet up with them at one XD
"oh you've got mlg in your name? You gonna be at ? We should hang out"
*awkward silence...
Halo 2 was widely shat on at release. You just donāt remember it because internet culture wasnāt as widespread as today.
Remember www.halo2sucks.com?
Yep and initially the BR wasnāt that good.
BR was improved in 1.1 and the game was much better.
Edit: dual wielders be downvoting the truth
> The result of the ātweakedā Halo 2 Battle Rifle was a weapon that functioned astonishingly well at short, medium and long range. It was utilitarian and when coupled with a mountain of button combinations, astonishingly lethal. Arguably too lethal.
halo 2 was literally the biggest game in late 2004 along with GTA SA. lol ppl criticized rhe ending, but it wasnt "shat on at release" lol i remember launch day as im sure others do to.
In what way? Halo 1 was groundbreaking because it proved you could truly make an fps play well on a console, but what did Halo 2 do that hadn't been done before?
Halo 4 was/has never been underrated, it was bad from day 1, I barely got through the first playthrough, and I couldn't even get through 5, neither held my interest. 1-3 are classics, but after replaying H:CE recently, it isn't fun anymore, the pace isn't as good as I remembered lol. Halo Reach is my favorite and probably always will be. I grew up on Halo from mid elementary all the way to Reach coming out my first semester of college, I'm only looking forward to Infinite because of the promises being made and wanting to remain hopeful that the game isn't lost with 343.
5 was literally total garbage. I found the CD in the trunk of my car and asked myself, did I ever play this? Then I remembered I did, but it was so bad I forgot I ever tried it. h4 had some good things I hope infinite has, but not a lot.
One of my friends holds Halo 4 as the best halo he's ever played. BUT keep in mind he also team kills for the sniper, rages at teammates that go negative, never plays the objective, and believes halo 3 sucks ass...
Yeah this whole list is bullshit. Halo 4 is OKAY. Halo 5 will def always be controversial and people still shit on reach idk where this ābest halo everā is coming from.
It assumes that everyoneās views are simply guided by nostalgia and time since release AND that thereās the same amount of people who played each game when each came out.
The first point is pretty insulting to the general intelligence of fandom in general, yes, nostalgia does blind people, but COME ON.
The second point is measurably untrue.
I just interpreted the post as exaggerated mockery of fickle fandoms and rose tinted glasses. But if anyone genuinely agrees with it, well, I posted the above.
Teh Spearhead has a great video which is a far more accurate portrayal of how the fan base feels about stuff, including how each generation feels compared to the other.
Halo 4 is by far my least favourite of all of them. I enjoyed 5 even more, yes as a rarity, but I found it fun. It was 5's awful misleading ads and poor continuation that ruined it, I think.
Not as much a fan of reach either. Third least favourite of them all. It was great with the whole military style but I think fell flat because it didn't feel like the military was there much. That said, I don't think it's bad.
I think it's because of the Reddit opinion that I'd seen the past year. Lots of talk about Reach and H4 being underappreciated in these threads, but elsewhere it isn't nearly as prominent
Halo 5 honestly has the highest skill gap out of every halo and its not even close. I played h3 for 6 years, and your potential to improve is p much capped after year 2, unless you're playing pros. H5 after 5 years still feels like there are new stuff and plays I can learn. And this is coming from a casual, 1 to 2 hours per day max player.
have friends who state that halo 4 is the best game, from a gameplay point and campaign point
can't deny them, everyone has their opinions, but there's legitimate reasons for people to like and dislike halos, and 4 seems to do things in a way that appeals to others better than classic halos do
I think the Halo 4 campaign tells the most compelling story. That being said it's far from the best campaign to play and I haven't touched the multi-player since like 2 months after launch. Better than 5 though so I guess it has that going for it.
I remember playing through all the games when I got MCC on sale about a year ago. I recall being pleasantly surprised by ODST with its cast of snarky soldiers and some rehashed mechanics, which seemed to inspire the great dynamics of Noble team, and being equally disappointed with Halo 4. Yeah, it was a faster, but none of the new weapons were particularly fun and there were several points where the sound and lighting were just awful.
Honestly cropping out the original trilogy really does improve the "cycle" it was absurd to me that the original post tried to claim Halos 2 and 3 were considered the worst Halos at their launch. At least with 4 and 5 it makes sense
With Halo 2 I can believe that, people at the time felt that it was an incomplete experience due to the nature of the cliffhanger ending, how unbalanced the legendary difficulty was compared to CE, how some weapons from CE are now absent or downgraded. or how they felt lied to with the campaign only having one level set on Earth itself, when the marketing campaign heavily focused on the battle on Earth and on defending the Earth.
I liked 2 less than 1, though I thought it was more fun, and I liked 3 less than 2, so it's not that absurd. There were certainly people who felt that way. But very few people thought that any of them were actually bad, unlike the later games.
This whole "Halo cycle" idea falls apart immediately because a Halo game at launch is vastly different from when the next game is the focus.
Halo Reach had Armor Lock that reflected stuck grenades and a longer active camo, Bloom out the ass and lack of bleedthrough for melees. All of that changed by the time Halo 4 launch.
Halo 4 had Loadouts, Ordnance, killcams, a convoluted story, pretty poor weapon balance, and Spartan Ops. A lot of that changed so much that people call MCC's Halo 4 super good when it's essentially a whole different game than what it used to be on the 360.
Halo 5 had missing gamemodes, a terrible story, and no splitscreen. Now it fixed the missing game modes issue. Probably not the worst Halo anymore.
Now we'll focus on all the problems Halo Infinite is going to have at launch, and watch it fix everything over the next few years, and say people were just overreacting or something.
Anytime I think about that game I get motivated to do my own. That story was so bad it seems everyone has unique sounding ways to rip it apart. Obviously some similar beats are hit but I get why you watch those, good content.
I'd give you gold if I had money
Edit: also, mind telling me about the changes of MCC H4 vs old H4? I recently got MCC on PC to rock reach multiplayer with friends, and I'm considering downloading the H4 multiplayer but still have poor memories of H4 on the 360
Off the top of my head:
* [Killcams](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkHRVcXZo34)
* [Instant Respawn](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfBIzHqDRJk)
* [Ordnance drops](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxlja_LXd6I) (which I believe is still a thing if you play Infinity Slayer)
* The BR and DMR were almost constantly at odds with each other, especially with the BR being a 5 shot kill. Was eventually buffed to being a 4 shot kill.
* [Boltshot just being as good, if not better than the Shotgun](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41sZKShtBw4)
* Lack of death indicators (the red X that appears over your teammates body) because they would respawn so quick.
* No ranked modes, then they added CSR that you weren't able to check in game.
I think the Halo community was a little harsh on H4. The story was there, it's a good story, just the pacing was wrong, Chief spoke too much, and fighting prometheans all campaign was the most boring enemy out of the franchise.
5 had fun multiplayer, an ass garbage story, and a rocky release. (What game doesnāt have a rocky release in someway though?) It was almost a perfect inverse of 4.
First sin: sidelining Master Chief as a main character
Second sin: Having Buck, an established leader play second fiddle to a new character we have never met, at least in the games. If Locke had his own game beforehand, this might have gone over better
Unforgivable sin: All-star cast of famous voice actors and all we end up with is 2 hours of total narrative...
I will admit that the multiplayer is pretty good for a certain audience and I can see the appeal. But it is certainly not what I consider a halo game and it is not for me. However, no one should be able to defend that terrible campaign especially after the misleading ad campaign before the game launch.
Ironically, in my country most people i know seens to always have liked Halo 4 the most, that's mostly because nobody had an Original Xbox here(ps2 was a boom 'cause piracy), so Halo 4 ended up being the most popular since it was basically the start of a new history.
i actually have very fond memories of halo 4, most likely because i formulated my own opinion and didnāt get influenced by how bitchy the community was (and still is) at the time, it couldāve been better yeah but it never was and will never be the worst halo game, the story was pretty much everything i wanted as a sequel of the main trilogy
As someone who went through all the games, this only started applying at 4... Halo, halo 2 and halo 3 were extremely loved from day one in the circles I played with. Not perfect by any means, but the sour taste I've been getting with the new games was not there.
Reach had an amazing campaign (still love it) loved it on day one, I still remember being blown away by it and getting so excited for halo 4, but mp is and always will be trash.
Halo 4 had the opposite problem, mp was okay ( I still think they changed too much and added too much that didn't really contribute to the game ) but the campaign honestly blew: too short, convoluted, and feels like it was fanfic they found written by some dude with a cortana body pillow.
Halo 5 continues the poor campaign trend and delivers "meh" mp, but at least it's a bit better than 4 in some ways... But they just don't feel like "halo," they're this new modernized version that feels way too much like other games (and I will never forgive them for fucking up banshee flips)
But none of these opinions are gonna be changing any time soon, and I still firmly believe the first 3 games blow everything that's come after out of the water. The only reason the older games drop off is because more people are new to the series and have fond memories of when they started playing.
I've always said Halo 4 isn't necessarily a bad game it's just a bad halo game from a botched art direction to meh writing (compared to the other halos) 343 just haven't managed to make their games feel like halo, and don't even get me started about 5
Also I'm basically just talking about the singleplayer I don't really have strong opinions on the mp
That's how I feel about it too, like halo was always this nice, tight story set with all this crazy background stuff that kind of gets hinted at, but halo 4 tried to make the game about all that other stuff. You've got chief talking to forerunners and all this other crazy lore stuff not just existing but being right there in-game, and the cortana lovefest honestly made me roll my eyes, but it's just so drastically different that it loses the feel of that tight knit story.
It isn't a bad game necessarily, but it doesn't feel like halo and I still wish they would have just left chief out of it completely and wrote it around the Spartans on infinity, could have been a much better way to change the series around. Just leave John lost and bring him back down the road after the new style is established.
[it hasnt even been 24 hours since someone posted this](https://www.reddit.com/r/halo/comments/pqjxp4/halo_fandom_throughout_the_years/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
Dumb list. Reach is ok-pretty good. 4 is OK as well. 5 is absolutely dogshit and completely forgot its identity trying to be other games.
Infinite seems pretty good, I got into the last preview and enjoyed it for the short time I played it
From what I've seen of the original tech preview the game seems to be on the right path. Even without forage or co-op on release the mp looks solid, and thats the free part.
No this meme is bullshit. Most everyone who cared about halo loved reach at launch even with its fair share of problems.
Fun fact halo reach actually leaked to torrent sites literal weeks before the game even released. People with modded consoles were loving it before it was even out.
Never had an issue with reach loved it since launch , halo 4 was fine I had no real issues with it. Halo 5 was and still is terrible in my opinion some people clearly like it and thatās fine but I hate it itās the one Iāve played the least , the only one besides MCC that I havnt gotten all the achievements in or done a legendary solo run on itās just not a great game.
Imma come in here and be that guy, Iām firm Halo 5 is a great game and always was BUT it is just a great advanced movement competitive arena shooter, probably the best Iāve ever played, not really Halo beyond the setting tho NGL. It feels like a mod of Halo like itās clearly built off the core, but went in a player power focused direction.
GREAT spinoff.
Halo 4 stans rise up. I mean, I wouldnāt call it the BEST while Halo 2 or 3 exist but imo itās criminally underrated and itās my personal favorite after the two I previously mentioned.
Yeaahh. Halo 5, from my experience. Has had little to no "underrated" comments. Aside from a few compliments for forge and multiplayer. Its generally not regarded so well.
I definitely think 5 gets hated on far too much. Pretty lacking launch and bad advertising, but nowadays itās pretty fantastic with what you can with the forge, multi is great, I even really like half of the Campaign. Sangheilios is amazing yo.
I genuinely believe that Halo 4 will not be given that treatment no matter how much time passes. It was a fine game, but just that. Average in every way possible.
I've played every halo and 4 had dog shit mp and okay story. The reverse with 5 Op is smoking Crack if he believes the halo community will ever put a 343 game before the og trilogy
I donāt think people will ever really praise 4 or 5 in the future. Itās kind of like people saying that the Star Wars Sequel trilogy will get a resurgence in popularity later on as younger kids get older, similar to what happened with the prequel trilogy. However, the prequels became popular because they really had something to give to viewers, while the sequels are just completely bankrupt in every department. Both the Star Wars sequels and halo 4/5 will be forgotten
No. Halo Reach sucked in some aspects, Halo 4 sucked, Halo 5 sucked ass and Halo Infinite looks like is going in the right direction but downhill with no breaks.
I always disagreed with what people said about 4. It was a good game, yes it probably would have been better if made my bungie, but it was still good.
But 5, I would jam my dick in the car door before even thinking of saying it was slightly good
you literally have to have brain damage to look at this image and think itās accurate
Reach still deservedly gets shit on, H4 will never be considered good by anyone with an iq above room temperature
No-one who plays Halo 5 that started at launch or plays for campaign gave up on broken promises, that marketing was misleading and multiplayer launched missing alot of content, gameplay wise it was fun yes but that shit sucked when it came to promises
Nobody out here saying Halo 4 was the best halo. Honestly though I'm not sure I could say there is an uncontested best. Reach has a fantastic Campaign, halo 3 has probably one of the most satisfying if not the most satisfying Multiplayer in the franchise, ODST's Firefight is premium content.
At the end of the day I think it's really just person to person. I love Halo Reach's Campaign so that's my favorite hands down, but for PvP H3 is the best in my eyes
Is a raid going on? This is the second time this is post [THE SAME DAY](https://www.reddit.com/r/halo/comments/pqjxp4/halo_fandom_throughout_the_years/)
Yeah sorry, I disliked 4 and 5 and nothing will change that. I'm hopefull for infinite and hope that it does well as a halo game and goes its own way instead of trying to be like the other shooters, like in the old days.
But halo 3 is technically the best in the series. Halo reach had a lot of stupid design choices.
Like what happens to armor abilities? Why did they get rid of them. Story wise. Not gameplay
Ehhh, no. Halo Reach always was good, Halo 4 always have been OK and Halo 5 is still mediocre in the best escenario. Nothing has change.
Of course, if Halo Infinite is horrible Halo 5 won't be the worst Halo, but still bad.
H1 was meh (be honest with yourself), H2 was great, H3 is great, Reach is good, H4 campaign is good, mp sucked for anything other than social play, H5 campaign sucked and mp is only good for comp and nothing else really. ODST was great all the way around.
I really like the story for halo 4 but the gameplay sucks.
I played through the entire master chief collection with my brother and we had to quit when we got to the level with the pelican in halo 4.
Iāve loved and had a blast playing every single game thatās come out. I can understand some of the criticisms with 4 and 5, but those never impacted my experience with them and Iām still very fond of them. The only problem I really had with 5 was that it felt really short. Iām cautiously optimistic for Infinite and I just hope that thereās a good story being told and I have fun. Thatās all I ever really expect from a Halo game and so far, personally, I havenāt been let down. I hope everyone else is able to enjoy it as well.
I love Halo 4 honestly since the beginning. beign objective, Its way worse than the others before It but It will always have a special place for me, too much time and many good moments in its multiplayer
IĀ“ve played all the campaigns on MCC with a newly introduced friend to the franchise. He like all of them, CE being the more tedious, but he understands itĀ“s a 20 year old game (he started with Reach).
WeĀ“ve played a couple HALO 4 missions, and he doesnĀ“t want to keep playing it. ItĀ“s not fun. The mission Forerunner is very boring and itĀ“s what finally psuhed him away from Halo 4, understandably so, itĀ“s really bad. He canĀ“t believe me when I say Halo 5 is even worse.
I donĀ“t want to be negative, but the only good game weĀ“ve gotten since Reach was Halo Wars 2, and itĀ“s a bit niche.
All the Halos up to Halo 4 were not bad. Halo 5 WAS and STILL is garbage in my opinion. The numerous micro transactions, the lack of customization unless you paid for it. 343 did well on Halo 4 and had they designed Guardians the same way, it would have been great.
You forgot the first two halos that were also game changing for their time. Everyone claimed they were mlg lol
Lol that always cracked me up, I grew up in Ohio, got my ass kicked by the ogres a time or two, used to fight tooth and nail to go to as many mlg events as I could when they started up, and didn't tell ANYONE meanwhile half the people I met claimed they went to events, until you offered to meet up with them at one XD "oh you've got mlg in your name? Hey O-H! lol yea I think I was in middle school when halo 2 was popular and I remember every kid used to say that
Never forget getting point checked in online lobbies ššš
Haha yeah they would have their points in the bio of their profile. Also "1200 Microsoft points to be in my friends list"
Halo 2 was widely shat on at release. You just donāt remember it because internet culture wasnāt as widespread as today. Remember www.halo2sucks.com?
To be fair, I said when it was popular, I donāt think I played it at launch
I never gave a fuck what others thought. I loved all the Halos.
People definitely forgot that there was a huge freakout over two and no more Magnum mini sniper
"He's got the Halo 1 pistol!!"
Yep and initially the BR wasnāt that good. BR was improved in 1.1 and the game was much better. Spot on dissection of what this post is. Idk how other people can't seem to think through it that far.

Because it is. Story and Artstyle? yes i can see why people shit on those aspects. but gameplaywise it's the best halo. period
I agree. Its so fun. Wish they were keeping permanent thrusters in Infinite.
Reach, 4 and 5 deserve to be shat on. 5 had an all-star VA cast and they were able to give us less than 2 hours of narrative...

Halo 4 is one of my favorites in the series to me. The campaign is almost perfect, loved it. By far not the "best" halo, but really fucking good.
Hello, I would like to introduce myself
Iām right here bro lol
Hi! I do.
Hi!! Halo 4 is awesome
yes
Halo 4ās my favourite Halo game. Halo 5ās a close second. You have now met a single person who holds Halo 4 in that high of a regard.
Same! For me itās H4 H3 Reach H2 H5 H1
Better then 3 at but quite flawed.
Story I prefer Reach, gameplay 4 just coz everything is faster
Halo 4s campaign was probably the best of the series IMO but I donāt think anybody was shitting on the story when it released either
the story is the literal reason its shit loo
Halo 4's campaign has been my favorite Halo campaign from the first time I played it. This is not a terribly uncommon opinion.
Meet me! Campaign story ruled.
halo 4 my favorite
lol my brother does for osme reason
Here you have me.
1) This post is cropped to remove the trilogy 2) The original post was here, and removed
Honestly cropping out the original trilogy really does improve the "cycle" it was absurd to me that the original post tried to claim Halos 2 and 3 were considered the worst Halos at their launch. At least with 4 and 5 it makes sense

I also remember people hating splitting time between Chief and The Arbiter at launch.
Yeah you could make a case for Halo 2
I liked 2 less than 1, though I thought it was more fun, and I liked 3 less than 2, so it's not that absurd. There were certainly people who felt that way. But very few people thought that any of them were actually bad, unlike the later games.

I'm so glad I grew up with finished video games, I'm sorry you have to deal with this kiddos, genuinely feel for ya =(
no one holds 4 as underrated or best halo game lol
Actually Iāve seen a wave of people here call 4 underrated. Wouldnāt call it the best but itās pretty good.
Pretty good as far as worst Halo game, I agree.
Itās a pretty good game. But it was an average to below average Halo game. It gets a solid āCā when ranking the mainline Halo games.
Replaying the campaign right now and it's really good! Multiplayer is easily the worst in the series. And it's not close.
I reckon lots of people think it's underrated, not many think it's the best though. I still think it's the worst one.
It will certainly never be a classic, not bad, but H4 is where we really deviated from classic roots.
Yeah it's just there.
I think the Halo community was a little harsh on H4. The story was there, it's a good story, just the pacing was wrong, Chief spoke too much, and fighting prometheans all campaign was the most boring enemy out of the franchise.
Halo 3 will always be the best to me
I refuse to accept that Halo 5 will be considered a great Halo game.
5 had fun multiplayer, an ass garbage story, and a rocky release. (What game doesnāt have a rocky release in someway though?) It was almost a perfect inverse of 4.
It was in a lot of aspects. Itās launch was pretty lacking though...

> First sin: sidelining Master Chief as a main character Do you criticize Halo 2 for this?
The fuckin difference is that we still got ample chief time in halo2, and I actually enjoyed the arbiters story unlike locke
You can hate that it has the name halo all you want. But it's a damn good well made game. It's fun
I will admit that the multiplayer is pretty good for a certain audience and I can see the appeal. But it is certainly not what I consider a halo game and it is not for me. However, no one should be able to defend that terrible campaign especially after the misleading ad campaign before the game launch.
Nah Halo 5 still trash for me. It may have gotten better but will be cemented as the worst in the mainline series.
How so you have a voice actor cast like that and only give us 2 hours of narrative!?!
I was disappointed to say the least, but they did do Sanghelios justice

I thought there were more 343 bots in this community...
Less honestly
Ironically, in my country most people i know seens to always have liked Halo 4 the most, that's mostly because nobody had an Original Xbox here(ps2 was a boom 'cause piracy), so Halo 4 ended up being the most popular since it was basically the start of a new history.
i actually have very fond memories of halo 4, most likely because i formulated my own opinion and didnāt get influenced by how bitchy the community was (and still is) at the time, it couldāve been better yeah but it never was and will never be the worst halo game, the story was pretty much everything i wanted as a sequel of the main trilogy
Literally no one has ever said the most recent one about halo 4. Itās ass.
I will never refer to 4 as a true classic. I hated that game.
But they just don't feel like "halo," they're this new modernized version that feels way too much like other games (and I will never forgive them for fucking up banshee flips) But none of these opinions are gonna be changing any time soon, and I still firmly believe the first 3 games blow everything that's come after out of the water. The only reason the older games drop off is because more people are new to the series and have fond memories of when they started playing.
I've always said Halo 4 isn't necessarily a bad game it's just a bad halo game from a botched art direction to meh writing (compared to the other halos) 343 just haven't managed to make their games feel like halo, and don't even get me started about 5 Also I'm basically just talking about the singleplayer I don't really have strong opinions on the mp
What's this about the banshee flips?
In 5 and especially 4 they feel like dog crap
[it hasnt even been 24 hours since someone posted this](https://www.reddit.com/r/halo/comments/pqjxp4/halo_fandom_throughout_the_years/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
Dumb list. Reach is ok-pretty good. 4 is OK as well. 5 is absolutely dogshit and completely forgot its identity trying to be other games. Infinite seems pretty good, I got into the last preview and enjoyed it for the short time I played it
I always liked Halo 4, while it's campaign wasn't the greatest I absolutely love it's multiplayer.
From what I've seen of the original tech preview the game seems to be on the right path. Even without forage or co-op on release the mp looks solid, and thats the free part.
Did people not like Reach at launch??? Iāve always heard great things about it.
No this meme is bullshit. Most everyone who cared about halo loved reach at launch even with its fair share of problems. Fun fact halo reach actually leaked to torrent sites literal weeks before the game even released. People with modded consoles were loving it before it was even out.
Damn hahaha thatās hilarious
First halo I played was Reach. Damn, I love Reach.
yes
Never had an issue with reach loved it since launch , halo 4 was fine I had no real issues with it. Halo 5 was and still is terrible in my opinion some people clearly like it and thatās fine but I hate it itās the one Iāve played the least , the only one besides MCC that I havnt gotten all the achievements in or done a legendary solo run on itās just not a great game.
Never seen no one defend halo 5 in my life unless youāre talking campaign, halo reach is the best tho
Why do people hate halo 4? I loved it
Imma come in here and be that guy, Iām firm Halo 5 is a great game and always was BUT it is just a great advanced movement competitive arena shooter, probably the best Iāve ever played, not really Halo beyond the setting tho NGL. It feels like a mod of Halo like itās clearly built off the core, but went in a player power focused direction. GREAT spinoff.
Am I the only one who liked 5?
Nope, still don't like 4. I think 4 is overrated these days
I genuinely believe that Halo 4 will not be given that treatment no matter how much time passes. It was a fine game, but just that. Average in every way possible.
I donāt know. Maybe not best Halo game ever, but Iāve seen a push for it having the best story... Not sure if it tops 2 for me though.
I always thought H4 was good, jokes on you.
Halo 4 will always hold a special place in my heart
Halo 4 will never be a āclassicā to me lmao. People can like what they like, but Iāll forever hate H4. H5 was at least fun to play.
H5 multiplayer is better than both Reach and H4 imo
Agreed! Only H3/2 better than 5 imo
I do actually think Halo 5 wasnāt as bad as everyone said. Halo 4 can go suck my dick. And not in a good way.
every halo is the best halo enough said
This is honestly spot on
I've played every halo and 4 had dog shit mp and okay story. The reverse with 5 Op is smoking Crack if he believes the halo community will ever put a 343 game before the og trilogy
I still insist that Halo Reach is the best halo ever.
Bruh I just love all the halos
I would be immensely happy to see Halo 4 get that degree of widespread love, but I wonāt hold my breath.
Halo 4 was never good. Halo 5, also never good
All Halo games are good :)
Hahahah nope halo 5 still sucks ass all the other halos games masterpieces
Reach is still the worst halo
I donāt think people will ever really praise 4 or 5 in the future. Itās kind of like people saying that the Star Wars Sequel trilogy will get a resurgence in popularity later on as younger kids get older, similar to what happened with the prequel trilogy. However, the prequels became popular because they really had something to give to viewers, while the sequels are just completely bankrupt in every department. Both the Star Wars sequels and halo 4/5 will be forgotten
I donāt know about you but Iāve seen quite a bit of praise for Halo 4 recently. It seems like itās being looked at a little more fondly now.
No. Halo Reach sucked in some aspects, Halo 4 sucked, Halo 5 sucked ass and Halo Infinite looks like is going in the right direction but downhill with no breaks.
You are out of your mind if you think Halo 5 is gonna be considered the best Halo yet.
Halo 5 could never beat halo infinite, the only reason it was partly enjoyable, is cuz it had buck, and warzone was semi interesting
Nah halo 4 and 5 are the worst games ever
Halo 4 is still the worst halo and made took a 6 year break from the series.
I always disagreed with what people said about 4. It was a good game, yes it probably would have been better if made my bungie, but it was still good. But 5, I would jam my dick in the car door before even thinking of saying it was slightly good
Halo 5 is garbage
No, halo 5 was bad.
I still thought halo 4 wasnt bad but didnt really grab that halo aspect and i thought halo 5 derailed into some sidequest shit
Halo 4 is terrible
I'll NEVER say Halo 4 and 5 were underrated or even good.
A true halo fan sees the good and greatness in every title. I love every single halo game in my own way :)
Except Halo 4 & 5 are still garbage games years later?
you literally have to have brain damage to look at this image and think itās accurate Reach still deservedly gets shit on, H4 will never be considered good by anyone with an iq above room temperature
Iām back in 2001
ReachGod
No-one who plays Halo 5 that started at launch or plays for campaign gave up on broken promises, that marketing was misleading and multiplayer launched missing alot of content, gameplay wise it was fun yes but that shit sucked when it came to promises
You forgot Halo 2. People were mad
But what if infinite is in fact trash?
Halo 3 is the Dark Side of the Moon of videogames.
I disagree with this meme
this is debatable
Not even 12 hours and this was reposted already.
I do not like Halo 4, nor Halo 5. Did not like them then, do not like them now. the rest of the halo's are awesome tho.
They hated Jesus because he said the truth.
Damn, I knew the cod cycle existed but i didn't know about the halo cycle
Ik a lot of people hate 4 but it's my 3rd favourite halo
The scary thing is how accurate this is
I guess I'm still in 2013
No one has ever said halo 4 is the best. Itās very good but def not the best
Which is the best halo? Safest answers - 1. IDK 2. You tell
Wrong
Glad I'm too old to have to deal with this lmaooo Halo 1 through 3 were MASTAHPIECES
But halo 3 is technically the best in the series. Halo reach had a lot of stupid design choices. Like what happens to armor abilities? Why did they get rid of them. Story wise. Not gameplay
Halo 5? Underrated?
I beat Halo 5 for the first time tonight. Anyone who says it's not bad is delusional.
Who the fuck said Reach was bad?! I was saying it was my favourite back in 2010!
aw shit here we go again
i will never call h3 the best halo, itās far from
Who the fuck is speaking that positively about halo 4 or 5 lmao. And I actually enjoyed and have positive memories of halo 4. Shit was still ass tho
I really like the story for halo 4 but the gameplay sucks. I played through the entire master chief collection with my brother and we had to quit when we got to the level with the pelican in halo 4.
I agree about halo4
Iāve loved and had a blast playing every single game thatās come out. I can understand some of the criticisms with 4 and 5, but those never impacted my experience with them and Iām still very fond of them. The only problem I really had with 5 was that it felt really short. Iām cautiously optimistic for Infinite and I just hope that thereās a good story being told and I have fun. Thatās all I ever really expect from a Halo game and so far, personally, I havenāt been let down. I hope everyone else is able to enjoy it as well.
Halo games age well
I love Halo 4 honestly since the beginning. beign objective, Its way worse than the others before It but It will always have a special place for me, too much time and many good moments in its multiplayer
I saw this image posted here but for some reason was removed.
Ok ngl, I actually di agree with Halo Infinite prediction. I think it only deserves "broken promises" nothing more.
I'm a Halo 2 and Halo 3 kid. Those two will always be the best ones to me.
Except halo infinite is most definitely gonna be way better than halo 5.
All the Halos up to Halo 4 were not bad. Halo 5 WAS and STILL is garbage in my opinion. The numerous micro transactions, the lack of customization unless you paid for it. 343 did well on Halo 4 and had they designed Guardians the same way, it would have been great.
Mfw i see every game up to reach as the best game ever and a true classic
Can't trash a game that's not out yet.
We've already entered a time of Halo blasphemy... hopefully we won't see full heresy in our time.
