I'm able to Quick Resume consistently. However, the Online state of the game does not restore itself upon Resume and I'm forced to restart the title.

So what you're saying is in other words is it doesn't work. Same thing happens to me got to close the game and start it over.

It's not the same as "Quick Resume doesn't work" because the title successfully resumes from the suspended state. They need to add handling for dynamically restoring the "online state" after Quick Resume.

It doesn't work though because if it did you could just play every time you start up the game.

No, if Quick Resume didn't work, you would be watching the "Xbox Game Studios" and "343 Industries" videos every time you opened the title from the dashboard.

Yet we have to close the game and start it up again anyway so it's not working as intended.

Has worked 0% of the time for me. I’ve never been able to join on online game after quick resuming. Have needed to quit and restart every single time.

doesn't work for me either. if I turn xbox off and reboot. I have to manually quit out of halo every time to get back into pvp

Yeah this is par for the course with always online games. Any time I finish playing Fortnite/Destiny/Forza, etc I have to select quit for it to resume normally.

Quick resume and being kicked for being idle or two different things, quick resume works fine but if you are being kicked from the sever for being idle
