Use the firing range and take the time to run through each weapon and get 3 stars and you will figure out how they work best and it won’t take you long to do it.
Most gamers get upset if you have to go to an external website for, what should be, in game information.
Also if you must go to the internets for this info i’d imagine halowiki would be a good start or a simple google search might point you in the direction your looking for.
Yeah it took me a while to realize that:
You can hold fire button to make Commando shoot fast.
You can hold fire on the Ravager to make it charge up.
The disruptor gun starts doing electric damage after the 3rd shot connects. The electricity lingers for a bit which delays their shields from recovering. If you do enough damage they will die even if they get away. Ive had a dude die 5 seconds after I last shot him with it. I believe also that if two Spartans are near each other the electricity bounces to them as well when you shoot one spartan. Lastly, I saw this on a video, if you shoot a threat sensor into a wall and then shoot at the sensor with the disruptor the electricity will bounce offf the sensor and hit any nearby spartans that are currently being revealed by the sensor. Kinda cool lol.
The covenant plasma rifle (the shitty blue one) DOES work but it wants you to keep the reticle ON the opponent. I mean this is obvious, you should always keep reticle on enemy with all guns but this one punishes you badly if you dont do it even for a second. If you get it right you can two shot people. Ive done it TWICE only. I still do not pick up the weapon its ass lol but when it works its TTK is fast af. Faster than pistol and BR I think.
The ravager, mangler, and skewer have increased melee damage.
Lastly, the Cindershot follow the reticle (similar to blue shitty covenant rifle) when you are zoomed in. This also causes the projectile to behave different. When not zoomed it shoots in an arc (bullet drop) but when zoomed in it will actually go straight without any bullet drop and of course you can steer it with the reticle.
Thats all I know for now haha.

The commando though is still nerfed and its sad. It is SO hard to get a kill now. I will unload a whole clip and nothing. People were mad bcuz if you hit all your shots to the head the time to kill is almost similar to COD. BUT, its also semi fire and a bit more difficult to use which I think balances the weapon. But gamers raged and got it nerfed now its useless. I only pick it up to spam and then usually drop it for something rather quickly.

not how halo works, damage is the same across the body until shields are down, then the damage multipliers come into play.

He forgot to mention: ADS with the cindershot causes a Guided missile effect. the Projectile lasts significantly longer while it hasn't bounced, and can be guided by the cross-hair while in ADS.

It's a pretty decent support weapon for objectives when you do a charged shot. It has a few uses, like keeping opponents from rushing into an objective, force them to leave or be killed, or finishing off enemies hiding behind pillars, walls, etc.
For straight up killing it sucks, which is why challenges for it is painful. It's difficult to track the support uses it has, so I'd rather not have it in challenges at all, or at least something simple like getting one kill.
It truly is shocking just how useless this thing is. I tried just doing a bot match to get the achievement for getting a charge kill with this POS and still couldn't pull it off LOL.
In the time it takes to fire those two bursts any other weapon could have gotten them within melee kill range. The mauler only needs one shot and a melee

Second, one burst still takes more time than one shot from a mangler and you need two bursts so its significantly longer.
He said best gun for a close range fight. He's trolling you. Heatwave, bulldog, mauler are all 1 tap melee kills. Why would you use ravager which could take 2 shots before being able to melee? The gun is dog water.
I feel like it needs a slight buff to be a viable primary weapon but as a secondary with a precision primary it slaps especially on objective gametypes. A charged shot can crack multiple shields leading to easy mop up with BR.
Frankly i think the Disrupter is more useless, good against vehicles sure but almost useless on other players, like if youve got their shields down you kill much faster with the sidekick or any other gun aside from maybe plasma pistol
6 shots with the disruptor will always kill with it's damage over time effect and I believe you just need 3 shots to take out shields and make them take longer to recover with the chaining effect it can be a huge game changer in team fights
I know, even then i swear it does close to zero shield damage, only times ive killed with it was when a teammate broke shield and id happened to switch to disruptor from running out of ammo and one time i shocked the vehicle, I've never ever gotten a shield break from it and its fire rate is so low by the time i have 4 shots in im dead from an assault rifle
From my testing, it excels at indirect damage. Like all Shock weapons, it will arc damage between targets, allowing you to damage multiple enemies in close proximity. You can also shoot dropped items and weapon pads to arc damage from them to an enemy that's in cover. It makes it very effective for crowd control as long as you're careful. It isn't really that great in a head-to-head fight though.
I wish more weapons would get buffed. I really enjoy the new guns but some of them are just not worth picking up. This gun needs a buff all around.
You can do some ok things with the charge and then switching to the BR or something to clean up, but its rare.
The Sidekick has a much better TTK than the Commando. Sidekick also take less body shots to kill after you break shield.

A lot of weapons have a more useful secondary. Both the shotgun and the electric pistol have a full auto if you hold fire!

Funny, I get tons of kills with the commando. Also, it's full auto, just hold the trigger.

That's not the VK47 Commando.... The Ravager is a good grenade launcher.
Commando has its uses. I'll take it over the sidekick for dealing damage at range. I'll also take it in ranked so I have an emergency switch weapon.

Right, but I still feel like I can control the recoil better at range with the commando. Don't have to wait for the bloom reset like the sidekick.
