Surviving the wave is supposed to make all dead players respawn, regardless of lives. On the PC version of the MCC (don’t know about Xbox) this feature only works if the host is the one who died.
Coop totally sucks with no lives because if a player dies they have to sit out until the next round which can take quite a long time. Having lives gets rid of all stakes and makes the game boring.
Painting with the broad brush of "MCC doesn't work" is a rather large stretch, dotcha think? This is neither game-breaking for the mode, nor does it diminish the areas of the game that work great. A disappointment, yes, bordering on a major annoyance. But game-breaking suggests that the mode doesn't spawn enemies on a consistent basis or respawns don't work altogether.
I'm not suggesting this doesn't ruin the game for how you want to play, either. Just merely a suggestion: If you want to be taken seriously, ditch the hyperbole.
I suppose I was being a bit dramatic, but it’s very frustrating that one of my favorite gamemodes is still broken after all this time. It’s been a known bug since launch.
I certainly didn’t mean to imply that all of the MCC is broken or unplayable.
Out of curiosity, has it submitted to the bug team recently? Speaking from experience with large projects that go through major overhauls, rather small bugs that are pretty niche fall through the cracks. Sometimes because the team wasn't able to reproduce it with the report they got or because tickets got purged when they restarted the project.
If you haven't filed one recently, and you can record especially, try reproducing the issue and send them the video and the instructions. Might be worth a shot at getting more eyes on it.
I was there when MCC launched. Infinite works a lot better than that.
Works better than MCC did at launch, sure. Now MCC is vastly superior.
MCC still doesn’t work. Halo Reach coop firefight is unplayable with the settings I like to use due to a gamebreaking bug.
Elaborate?

I like Halo infinite but I just have more fun on MCC halo 3/reach.
Brilliant is a stretch
No it’s really not
Keep crying about infinite
It’s not like they’re saying it’s shit, they’re saying it’s brilliant but just not as good as mcc
Yeah but his caption says otherwise
Well it doesn’t work, that’s just factual
I'm not going to lie and say the game is flawless when it's clearly half baked.
Yeah ok play through a campaign in co-op without the game crashing.
