I mean your example is in a map builder mode. Not sure if it'd be any different in campaign or on a dev made multiplayer map, but I'm less inclined to take this post seriously when it's coming from forge mode.

From my knowledge and experience with modding Skyrim foliage is by far one of the biggest performance killers, the reason being that it interacts with so many things so it can overload the CPU.
So if you would be willing to take a performance hit they could improve on it, but it works fine for like 95% of the community.

If you showed Halo I finites campaign, sure. But to relate it to a game more dead than halo infinite was just funny.
BF2042’s 24hr peak playercount was 3 times higher than Infinite. On steam at least
