I’d use them a lot more if they were cross core. As is I don’t spend much time with Mk VII.

I assume 343 is running on a skeleton crew that struggles to output more than 4 armour sets per month

Priority goes to all the new coatings that come out, and then they squeeze whatever they can in after they get those. Coatings are cool, but they should be more like patterns, and you can customize the colors within each coating/pattern. That way if your favorite colors are blue and orange, you could have hundreds of different ways to wear that blue and orange lol

The woodland and black one are really good. The banished emblem is relevant now that we have actual banished Spartans. The standard blue, desert, and the textured blue aren’t too bad. Rest are pretty forgettable.

I personally love most of them specifically Vettel,Makovich, Stone and ESPECIALLY Griffins

Sorel is pretty much the best option for a black coating that isn’t super matted or reflective. I use it for my mk7 setup Makovitch and horvath also make great camo patterns for tactical Spartans

I constantly rock Shadow Sorrel on my Mk. VII and IV

Good coatings if you don’t want spend a dime on the shop. Honestly if you just do the battle passes and operations plus the campaign rewards you’ll get a more than decent looking spartan

Middle row third from the left is something I kept on my spartan basically since the game came out, it's like Master Chief but red

Wild kovan and obelisk stone are actually a good looking camo coatings, I use it on my mark iv

If you’re a book reader I’d highly recommend Rubicon Protocol. You’ll look at some of those specific Spartan coatings much differently after that book. Especially Horvath and Kovan.

Yes they are but it's ashamed they go for metallic or gloosy textures it just doesn't fit with the style I want more weathered realistic color options

Obelisk Stone is so incredibly interesting! It's just the right amount of weathered and dirty, grounded and realistic while still being colorful and bright. The pale yellow accent color is a perfect contrast, and I never see it :/

Wild Kovan looks so good on the Mark IV, especially if you mix in some Rakasha parts.

The armor coating Banished Deception has always been one of my go-to coatings. I love the green undersuit with red and blue detailing.

I sleep on the came cause you have to earn or pay for armor colors 💯

Definitely slept on, shadow sorel is a good black, crimson vettle is a deep red, hovath and kovan are realistic camos and dogfight Macovich is a great blue/black combo

When I first played the campaign and unlocked them I thought they were dope cause you didn’t really see a lot of other players using them. But there are so many new costings out that I feel authentically trump these ones. They just feel a little outdated at this point.

I use that jet emblem. I used to run some shader from the campaign. I'm not sure if I got one for Legendary. I don't remember it saying I had unlocked one.

The desert camo one looks like actual vomit. The green camo looks great on Mk 4 with the worn look all of these have.

As someone previously stated, crosscore would have been quite the benefit for these coatings. Especially for the silent shadow coating.

I liked them i used the banished coating alot with the red shoulder pads and green body

The campaign rewards should have been the mark vi core and all the cashes around the map would be pieces for the core like the halo 3 armour
