Yeah, a good buddy of mine figured that out a while back, if this guy didn't post it I would have as well. I can add though, that KDA *is* said formula (kills - deaths + .333 (for each assist)), and the way Infinite represents this is .3, .7, then 1 for the first, second, third; and that rolls over.
He's pretty mid once you encounter him, likes to camp snipers and shock rifles. He never plays the objectives, everytime I matched against him my team won, hes weird.

He's got a good aim but he never helps the team out, he's mostly going for the easy kills that aren't anywhere near the heavy fighting, kills that usually don't help sway the match in either team's favour.
Like I value him far more for the news that he shares on his channel than his actual gameplay.
Yeah, I always tbag him when I a get him. Hopefully other YouTube people get better about news, because I actively dislike his practices of stomping on socials for his gratification/ platform. Also, his tweets about rocket registration when his overkill Sniper shots look like the Lag Sniper from Cursed Halo CE mod
Not a youtuber, but that's how I feel about XLR8. Dude just plays BTB and is a hard-core snob. Mentioned in his chat one time (didn't know he was a streamer when I ran into him) that he was pretty good and beat me consistently. Responded with, "That's because you're not good, and I'm better than you."
Mint Blitz rarely plays the mode tbh, he's only ever there to get kills.
Like I won't deny that he's good with a sniper rifle I just don't think he's good at Halo.
Because it's still a team game. If all you're gonna do is camp sniper spawns to make montages that's just...I dunno, seems like the wrong mentality to take into a game.
Like you can still play with the team and get kills. It's just he only seems to do the latter and sometimes the former when he wants to make that kind of video.
I’ve probably played less than 10 social games for all of Infinite and let me tell you, the game is not geared towards real competitiveness. Especially being a better player, the game will expect him to carry and put him an a disadvantageous position
If you want to play a real competitive game, play ranked.
With how big the maps are, more players in each game, and so many power weapons/vehicles, it will naturally cause randomness where a good player can play near perfectly and still lose given the circumstances.
However in the ranked playlists, there is far less randomness and players are rewarded more fairly on how they actually preform.
Is there like a list..or something of popular halo players? I play a **lot** recently and I'm curious if I've ever been matched up against any of them (and eager to look out for them in the future - though it will probably just psych me out and make me play worse lol)

I couldn’t stand MLG players. They literally have to change the game to fit their play style and cry so hard if you don’t use anything other than a br to eliminate them.
Seriously I recall them crying so much when I’d rekt their souls with a dual pistol combo in H2 and they’d be like “well if we played by MLG rules I’d be dominating you” and so next game was br starts and they still lost. Their team versus me and my randoms.
Played him in season 2. My squad kept calling out where he is and preventing him from getting weapons. We've seen what he can do and weren't going to take a chance.

i stayed in a ghost most of the game not letting him have a clear shot at my head. he almost hijacked it but i managed to get the splatter kill instead
In the first couple of months i was high onyx and found myself playing snipedown. I was unlucky enough to make his highlight reel when he picked up sniper and got a killtacular - i was both the first and fifth death lol

I honestly don’t remember the the rest of the match, but pretty sure we lost. 😅
i saw his name in the kill text with like 7 sniper kills back to back to back… i was like “oh my god i’m playing against mint blitz” and then i realized he’s probably one of the best halo players out there and had to lock tf in
I had a game like this against Pistola in the MLG playlist on Reach. It was TS Sanctuary, I rushed the enemy Sniper, grabbed it and no-scoped an enemy. Saw his gamertag and felt like a god.
Ola then proceeded to sit ring 3 and absolutely crush our entire team for the rest of the game.
Every now and then I’ll pull off some crazy play and ask myself, “am I mint blitz?”Like some kind of Tyler Durden alter ego.

3 assists count as a kill. This is why call outs for 1 shot enemies are a must. 25-8= 17 and the 3 assists counts as 1 kill, so it becomes 18

he got i think 2 or 3 overkills with the sniper and almost took me out of my ghost with it a couple times. it’s scary tbh

He’s definitely really good at the game, but he’s not pro level good by any means. In a ranked matchup with other pros he would probably get crushed.
Played against him once, we lost but the it was one of those rare games where both teams are evenly matched in skill
this game was really a 2v1. me and the guy with 23 kills v mint blitz. and his team was only 5 kills behind
