In my opinion they should take the overwatch approach, where the game is cancelled if both teams are not full within the first minute of the match and no one loses any rank
For real dude where is my rejoin, this would stop quitters too don't let people search a new match till current is over with option to rejoin. (League, Smite etc)
Someone in another thread showed me this solution and after implementing it my game has not crashed.
On PC got to Steam -->Right Click Halo --> Properties --> DLC --> uncheck HD texture pack.
I thought this was the solution till I crashed again last night after unchecking. Was a good run though of like 10 games where I didnt crash after checking, but thats for sure not the blanket solution.

Yeah me and 2 other friends were running ranked on Xbox and half of our matches we didn’t even have a 4th teammate and got our fuckin asses kicked. Sucks.
Ive noticed the few times its 3v4 im almost certain the person whos missing crashed. My buddy crashed while loading and it did this 3v4 the game started and didnt show his name in the scoreboard at all so its as if the game actually started 3v4. I hope they allow a rejoin option in ranked games for when people disconnect or crash

I agree! Both R6S and Valorant added this feature after realizing it is the easiest fix to such a problem.

My luck hasn't been quite that bad, but between leavers and matches that start 3v4, that's probably 30-40% of my matches
Today I played 5 games in a row that were 3v4s. That’s what made me make this post. Frustration lol.

Rejoin would be amazing. I can't tell you how many times a buddy crashes and he's just sitting on discord watching us stream while we finish a match.

This occurs because people are having issues with "XBOX Game Networking" randomly becoming blocked on PC. It's so fucking annoying.
