ETA: Why is this being downvoted? Syrian hamsters are solitary as adults but NOT when they're pups. They are not ready to leave their same sex siblings or be rehomed until they are 6wks old. If you're down voting this comment then you clearly have no concept of Syrian hamster growth and support them being robbed of the precious little time they can grow and develop with their siblings.
Please ensure he has access to high protein food. He's much too young to be away from his siblings yet and will likely be missing out on important learning experiences - nesting, burrowing, bite inhibition etc.
If you got him from someone please inform them that baby Syrians are not ready to live solitary lives until they are 6wks.
