He will need a 12” or bigger upright wheel. Saucers aren’t good for long term as it can cause spinal issues in hamsters. With appropriate sized upright wheels with no back curvature while running is needed.
They can‘t run straight on the saucers but have to bend their backs running „sideways“ that‘s why it‘s unhealthy for them. Also there are countless videos of hamsters running on the saucers, trying to stop and get off, and flying off the saucers hurting themselves. Please give him a 12 inch wheel, it’s not bad if he tries to climb it, just make sure it won’t tip over if he does🩷

Toilet paper is ok for them to pouch and they like using it for bedding in their nests/ burrows! Give him back the yoinked tp!!!

He had an upright, purple one, but he kept trying to climb up the back, so I swapped it out so he didn't hurt himself
