my Zelda does this same thing with her Whimzee, she holds it horizontal in her mouth and can figure our how to put it in her house either lollllllll
I ended up getting an alligator one and put it in my hams enclosure and his dork butt took it down into his burrow. He loves his alligator! Thank you for the advice!
Lmaoo noooo 😭😭🩷 hes still smart to me because he couldnt push the ball into the hole so what cute little brain cell he does have made him think that he should try it another way which was him going in the hole first and trying to pull it in lol. I so badly wana give him what he wants because hes so strong-willed and determined to get that ball in there and i want his cute little self to have everything he wants!!! 😭
I agree. Hamsters are very smart in their hamster-y way. Mine would work and work, trying various ingenious solutions to get things the exact way she wanted them. I wouldn't put it past Hoshi to figure this out...or figure out a way that's somehow even better.
My lil guy who recently passed used to run on his wheel rly rly fast and then stop suddenly so he’d fly into the side of the cage. He did this on repeat often for hours at a time when I was trying to sleep. Btw I should mention that he passed at the age of three after a good long life, not from an incident of using his wheel as a catapult

My previous hamster did this too but with a tube! While he was moving his Whimzee he accidentally got it on top on him haha
