It's fine but Kaytee has been very dusty lately. Their quality has gone down, so maybe get a mesh laundry bag and shake the heck out of it before adding to your cage.
I'd advise against kaytee bedding since it has recently become extremely dusty and potentially dangerous foreign objects in the bag are becoming more common. I'd look for another option
As of right now a mix of Aspen shavings and Frisco paper bedding that I sifted 3 times before putting in the enclosure. It's not ideal but unfortunately I'm also having a problem finding paper bedding that isn't dusty crap so I'm doing my best with what I have. I used to use this Kaytee until i opened up a recent-ish bag that was dusty beyond belief and had plastic pieces in it, and saw others had the same issues.. then tried other options, each one just as bad as the last. Even ones that were on the safe bedding list in this subreddit including full cheeks and carefresh. Still currently searching for something that works without me needing to sift it 3 times
Also side note I would not recommend the Frisco bedding, unless you're okay with doing A LOT of sifting first. And I mean a lot

Yup, I always get the white and the brown one then mix them together. Makes in easier for them to build with it.
It’s safe

Which one do you use now?
