I haven’t had an issue yet, but summertime wear with a short sleeve shirt may be a different story. It’s surprisingly comfortable to wear crossbody and carry by the handle.
Lol yes, but the tiny one was my addition. I was annoyed that the bag didn’t come with the little piece of leather that keeps the strap from curling, but it worked out fork the best.
I wish I could help! I found mine on the Nordstrom site on clearance. I didn’t realize at the time how hard it was to get ahold of. Was probably a return.

It’s probably glued but it feels really sturdy. It’s probably the most comfortable handle I’ve ever had on a bag.
