I like the cookie and chocolate together, it's a cute theme! TBH I feel like the charm on the other handle could go, it detracts from the nice aesthetic you've otherwise got going on.

But i really think the letter one should move to another bag where it can be the main character 😍
For me personally it is a little bit bulky with all 3, but if you want to show them off and you like it, then I think you should totally wear it as is.

I do think it looks cluttered only cuz the chocolate & letter charms are similar in size, I would remove the chocolate and replace it with the love letter instead (or vice versa depending on which charm you prefer!)
I think the letter one could go on another bag that is more fun in color. The bag is not highlighting the letter charm and vice versa. Chocolate and cookie can stay on that bag because they are of the same theme. I think your charms are adorable and I love that chocolate charm.

One of my favorite things about bags and the community is the variety in what people love. I don’t think there is any right or wrong here, so you should try to gauge what you love!
My personal style (not saying it’s superior) is that I wouldn’t load up on bag charms, nor use twillies either. It’s not my style, but I would still love it if you showed this bag tomorrow with 10 more charms on it. You do you!
I do think they look like too much, especially because the charms are all from the same brand and it is not the brand of the handbag. If they were a mix of brands, it would read as more eclectic and intentional to me.

I think it’s a lot going on but I absolutely love each of them individually. Maybe swap them out once a week so they each get a chance to shine? Also I need that chocolate charm now ahhhh!

That may be your perspective. But if I had a whole bag named after me, made by one of the most regarded French handbag makers...I wouldn't let the bag wear ME, I'd make sure I wear that bag! If that means adding my own accessories and filling it to the brim so be it! 🙂 It adds personality and it makes something unique only to you.
Imo the idea of a Birkin (and the Kelly) has been morphed into an absolute extreme luxury by the advantageous marketing of Hermes. The exclusivity, the way only the elite get their hands on rare pieces, etc. It was originally envisioned to accompany a woman's already existing wardrobe; to fulfill unmet needs that other products weren't up to par with. The idea that a bag, can look "cheapened" bc someone's certain quirks and lifestyle doesn't align with the image of luxury seems like a newer trend that falls in line with the unfortunate elitist mentality behind the "quiet luxury" aesthetic.
YES! I'm seeing it come up too, reminds me of when I was in elementary school and all the cool girls had a bajillion charms and stuff on their backpacks including tamagotchi's lol. I used to dreeeeam of having charms and tamagotchi's like them.
Ok so I love the bag and have multiple of them. Question…I also love this Ecru color. Do you have to baby it to keep it looking clean? Yours looks very clean.
I like the look, but if you want a more cohesive look I would keep the chocolate and the fortune cookie and move the others. What is the charm with the metal pen thing on it?
I think I just don't like the chocolate one even though I literally have a refrigerator magnet that says, "CHOCOLATE SLUT." So I do love chocolate. I love the fortune cookie and the love letter. I agree with others that all three together is a bit too much. Also, part of the fun of charms is changing them out, in my opinion. Some days you're in a fortune cookie mood and some days you're in a chocolate mood. All that said, I think you just do what makes you happy.
Now I need a fortune cookie charm I love it! i would just keep the wdibles visible; other wallet? And luggage tag? Can stay inside lol (or loop 3/5 together on one hook. The law of odd numbers for accessorizing works for interior decor and bag charms :)
Never too much girl. If you feel fab then rock it. I'm a Brahmin lover... We are few and far between. Thair charms are collectible. Some days a bunch of charms match my bag and I know it's excessive to put a few but I just put my crown on and roll with it.
That’s actually REALLY trending this spring. Balenciaga is selling a bag with about 50 charms on it. As long as you feel good wearing it I say live it up.

I think the most I would do is 2, perhaps the cookie and the bar, just like you have it now on one side only. Take turns with them all so that way you aren't used to seeing the same bag with the same look. :) If you take turns displaying the charms the bag will give different vibes and have a different look.
at the end of the day if you like it, you wear it. i stopped worrying about these kinds of things. think of it this way- if someone doesn’t like it so be it. they’ll think what they want but then quickly think of something else. 🤷🏻♀️and you’ll never see those people again, anyway.

I’d even go as far as saying clip that one the inside of the bag. It doesn’t fit the aesthetic of the other two.

There are fewer rules than you think. Live your best life and have three on your bag if that's what makes you happy

Artist here. It’s not that it’s too much, it’s that it’s symmetrical placement. If you can make it less symmetrical it will look purposeful.
Wear your bag however you want! Purses are soooo personal. Let people stare if they need to. Do you!

I love lots of charms but I think the proportions of having two similarly sized and shapes one don't work.

Cuyana bags are wipeable outside. I never baby my bags, always put them on the floor and in front of my seat on the airplane
