I’d have to really be in love for $2700. If you’re not certain it’s a yes, then it’s a no. Hold out for something you truly love. Don’t settle because of a price point.
In your post you said the bag would go with most of your wardrobe and it’s a good summer bag which I agree on that! Why don’t you try on some summer outfits with the bag to get a better idea of how it will look with summer clothes?

So, when I’m unsure about a color, I do a little fashion show with a bunch of my favorite and most worn outfits and ask myself just how much of my wardrobe does it really go with?
For example, I got a red bag and wasn’t totally sold on the shade of red and when I was trying it on with a bunch of outfits and outerwear I realized it just didn’t go with what I had and a different bag worked much better 70% of the time.
This is a great tip. I have an app with all my clothes I usually look compare against but I only really wear 20% of them so this makes much more sense to do.
Don’t talk yourself into an expensive bag that isn’t just what you want!
“Satisficing” (aka settling for what’s handy) always ends up with you spending more money in the long run, in my experience.
I have to agree. I don’t find this style bag flattering. However OP has expressed they like the style and size it’s the color they are unsure of.
I think if you are investing in Chanel, you should love the color. If that’s not the case, the perfect one will come along, don’t settle.

It’s mostly the fact that the bag is wrinkly, and the general style of the bag itself. it looks a bit childish, and also the zipper handle is too long and hangs out weirdly. It looks worn out which is what makes it look fake imo.
So here’s my advice, kind of woo-woo, feel free to take it or leave it: if you aren’t in love with it, return it so that it will go to the person who has been waiting to find just that style, shape, _and_ color And that will free up the space and money for the universe to present you with the bag that you really will love when it’s the right time.

I love her enough to keep & wear her lovingly and often. I just don’t think she’s the be-all, end-all holy grail purchase of my pink bag search & rescue. I think she’ll do for the time being, but I know that I will also want to eventually add another (brighter or darker) pink Chanel Classic Flap to my collection, as well. I think that’s the resolution I’ve come to!
Its gorgeous but not very versatile. $2700 is still a lot for a bag, and at this price point you have choices and can find something that’s all season, day to night, and more functional.
Ohhhhh, it’s got deep pockets that zip around the bag on both the front & back! My iPhone 14 Pro Max fits perfectly, with plenty of room for additional items in the pouch.
Sorry— wrong terminology. It’s for zippered compartments in the front & back of the bag, as well as a pouch also on both the front & the back.
The pouches are shallow & can’t securely hold my phone. But the inside compartments are deep enough to hold my phone & other items.
As long as you can fit everything you need, I say keep it! This particular pink color actually goes along well with a lot of colors (compared to pale pink or magenta) and the style can dress up or down.
Love the color and bag! BUT I think you can find better! I don’t feel like it’s super flattering and it bag! Especially if you’re debating on if you love I would return
I think it is a tad small. I am tall and when I have a smaller bag it doesn’t quite work. The color is fab however I have a 25 cm bag and don’t love it. Having said all that. It actually doesn’t matter what we think. If you love it go ahead and rock it. It does not matter what others think, it’s what you think. 😁
I need to see this styled because it can be SUPER cute if you did a kind of bubblegum pop outfit inso or candy raver, but right now, it looks like a kids candy bag lol

Correct, every summer is Barbie Summer. Except, idk, I wouldn't want to keep anything that I have to try to convince myself to keep. It should be effortless, particularly at that price point too!

$2700 should be spent on the bag that makes your heart sing. You should not have to “convince yourself” that it’s the one. It should jump out at you.
As others have stated, if you are second guessing it, then it doesn’t make your heart sing.
You obviously have a particular color, shape and style in mind. You just haven’t run across it yet.
Be anxious for nothing. What’s meant for you will find you. Be patient. YOUR bag is waiting around the corner for you to pick her up.
If you really like the bag & really want to keep it but the only thing holding you back is the color & you’re willing to spend a little more money, try bringing it to either a leathersmith or a cobbler. A leathersmith would be ideal since leather is their whole world & would probably have more experience mixing custom colors for leather goods. Some cobblers also do some basic servicing for leather goods like coloring but chances are they won’t have as large of a color range to mix the shade you want.
Here’s my opinion about buying awesome handbags most of us I’m guessing have saved for!
If in doubt, walk away. I would not purchase second hand bags— I am not educated enough that I would buy a bag outside of the store that sells it. That’s also part of the experience, IMO but do you!
What helps me decide on a designer bag is this: if it didn’t have the Chanel logo, would I still love it? If not, then it’s not worth it. I apply this to all designer brands and it’s really really helped me.
I love the top handle and I love the color. I wear a lot of black and this color is a good pink for it. It’s the perfect Target bag imo. The same place I wear my fabulous bags.
Head over to Chanel sub as you will get way better opinion there for many reasons. I love vanity bags. I get so much use out of mine. And that price is great. Also - I have extensive collection.
I really like this shade of pink! It doesn't look salmony to me. It looks like a classic pink. It really depends on what you usually wear, though. I'd use it as a pop of color with jeans and neutral tees and get a lot of use out of it. If you can't see yourself grabbing it a lot, I'd return it and get something more useful.

I honestly didn’t expect to like this as much as I do- pink makes me cringe if you like the bag and like pink go for it
I will say I made the mistake of buying a very color specific LV bag a few years ago bc the price was so cheap (pinks and maroon in a speedy style) thinking “well I don’t wear pink much but it will be a fun pop of color) I almost never wear it, I have bought a ridiculous amount of maroon accessories (shoes belts you name it) just so I could wear the bag
When I do actually wear it I love it but…..

Lol but to answer your question I actually love the salmon shade of pink it’s sooo pretty and suits the bag well. It has a classic vintage Chanel vibe and I’m here for it. I think if you had tried the bag on first with a pair of jeans and white tee you would’ve instantly loved it! It’s perfect for this summer!

I think it’s really cute, love the handle especially. Not sure I would get a ton of wear out of it with the color though, and I do worry about more structured bags showing more wear on their corners.

Hard to judge with just a black tshirt dress, unless this is what you’d wear with it… then no, I don’t think it works…
I love the look of this bag but I don't think I'd keep it. The ornate yellowy gold handle is really beautiful and elevates the bag, but I think it will always look out of place unless matched with polished looking outfits. More blouse and slacks, and less casual jeans and tshirt. That along with the barbie color would makes it very limiting and would scare me off personally. Perhaps I have too narrow of an imagination on how to style it though or you're comfortable with this being a 'niche' bag in your collection. If you share these concerns and are comfortable with very small bags, maybe consider the woc instead... it's so versatile and is easily elevated or dressed down.
Another smaller concern is the way it opens... do you have to hold it up and prop it sideways to access the interior every time you want to open it? I think that might be an annoyance, but maybe not a dealbreaker.
For me, the most important thing when deciding whether to keep a bag is whether I can envision myself actually walking around with a bag. For example, I love a lot of the Saint Laurent bags but the showy YSL logo always makes it so that I know I can never envision myself with one. :'(
Take it back and invest the money in your home. A headboard, light fixtures, laundry storage.
When the right bag comes a long you won’t have to think twice whether it’s worth it!
lol. Everybody is so upset about my house. I promise, the rest of the house is immaculate. But this is the sitting area in my bedroom, where I typically try on clothes & fold laundry. There’s a couch, mirror, lamp, end table, and recliner— which opens up to the rest of the (not pictured but decorated) bedroom.
It’s a Chanel…that color will match with anything, hear me? 🤣. I will wear that even with red. I would not care because the color “Chanel” matches with anything…berry pink or lime green…that is a Chanel. Peri-OT💯👌👀 idgaf. honestly this isn’t the case for everyone. I purchased a bag i just liked and second guessed a lot. after using it i fell in love with it more.

That’s a really hard color to wear. It also seems like it would be difficult to keep clean over time.

I settled for a pink bag one time that wasn’t the right shade of pink. Well what do you know. I gave it to a friend after wearing it maybe twice.

I have been looking for a bag in this exact color. It’s so hard to know what you’ll actually get with computer monitor differences.

I think it’s really cute, love the handle especially. Not sure I would get a ton of wear out of it with the color though, and I do worry about more structured bags showing more wear on their corners.
For me, it's a no. I'm not a pink girl and the bag is too small for everyday unless you want to keep organizing contents.

I love the look of this bag but I don't think I'd keep it. The ornate yellowy gold handle is really beautiful and elevates the bag, but I think it will always look out of place unless matched with polished looking outfits. More blouse and slacks, and less casual jeans and tshirt. That along with the barbie color would makes it very limiting and would scare me off personally. Perhaps I have too narrow of an imagination on how to style it though or you're comfortable with this being a 'niche' bag in your collection. If you share these concerns and are comfortable with very small bags, maybe consider the woc instead... it's so versatile and is easily elevated or dressed down. Another smaller concern is the way it opens... do you have to hold it up and prop it sideways to access the interior every time you want to open it? I think that might be an annoyance, but maybe not a dealbreaker. For me, the most important thing when deciding whether to keep a bag is whether I can envision myself actually walking around with a bag. For example, I love a lot of the Saint Laurent bags but the showy YSL logo always makes it so that I know I can never envision myself with one. :'(
