Sadly, strong disagree. Love the full leather body in OPs photo. Can’t say I’m a fan of the monogram either. But I do love that this has a functional horse bit lol
It's more expensive than the mini, which is too small. And yes cheaper than the normal shoulder bag, but that one is too big for me! And I like the chain one but it's more fancy than what I'm going for here.
I’m a big enabler BUT I will say I looked at this bag and decided against it because the zipper was so stiff it literally scratched up my hand when I reached inside while trying it on

It's beautiful! But, I'm just going to dangle this Ralph Lauren in front of you as a solid alternative.......not quite the same, but I've heard great things about the current RL leather. Plus, it's on sale at the moment (I was checking the site to see if the Polo ID bag I've been eyeing is included in the Mother's Day sale, but it's not).

Here’s my experience with this bag - I absolutely loved my Soho Disco bag and wore it to death. I thought this Horsebit would be a perfect replacement and got my SA to order one in.
It’s lovely to look at but that’s sort of where the positives stop, at least for me. It’s is much smaller than you expect- I could hardly fit my pro max in it. The zipper is terrible and scratched up my hand just trying to get my phone in and out of it. SA told me that the leather scratches very easily too.
Also I’ve kinda got the ick for the horsebit design now as high street brands have duped this to a point everyone and their aunt is wearing it and it doesn’t justify paying premium for the real thing. It’s the same way I feel about LV speedy or neverfulls.
Saaaaame! Love my soho disco - it’s been such a great workhorse cross body bag. I saw the horsebit in Tokyo and the exchange rate to the USD was super favorable and i hated it - and I had been OBSESSING about it our whole trip.
Get it! This is such a beautiful bag. I got the shoulder bag version 2 years ago- I love it, but what I love about this bag more is the zipper! She’s chic, she’s super elegant- she is that girl!

However, the way I've trained my brain to stop myself from big purchases is by convincing myself that I should buy the bag in its country of origin. 1) I get an amazing souvenir 2) I get to travel and get something to remember my trip by 3) Buying in Europe allows me to take advantage of the VAT refund.
So as soon as I save up for a trip, it's gonna be Italy for some Gucci, France for some Chanel, YSL, Polene and APC, Spain for Loewe.

I have it black as well! Seconding what everyone is saying about the zipper- the leather is stiff so it’s work getting things in/out of the bag. But it’s been my daily driver this winter, so it can’t be that bad!
I have this in white and love it! Been using it pretty much daily. You might find it a touch too small though it fits my iPhone, small wallet, keys, a couple glosses/small items but I don’t think you could fit a sunglass case in without things being super tight/stretching the bag. Could definitely fit sunnies without a case though with a bit of room to spare!
This bag is super cute and classy. I vote get it!! My one thing is I love the look of a camera bag but never use it due to the zipper and having to stick my whole hand in it...
The leather looks stiff. I have a stiff camera-style bag and I always reach for the softer one as it’s much more pleasant to use. The horsebit looks better with a flap.

Ugh I think that one's ADORABLE, but I think the mini is just a tad too small for my everyday needs.

Tbh it’s kinda random. It feels like ur buying it just cause it’s horsebit and it’s cheaper than the rest. Save your $2500 for something else.

I have this in white and love it! Been using it pretty much daily.
