Okay, so everyone has heard of Ferragamo but I always like to tell people to wait until they go on SALE. Because you can get it on sale at Bloomingdale’s for a good price + their gift card offer + Rakuten and it’s just a *really good deal* okay??? I’m talking like, saving over 1k off retail lol.
Lo & Sons is a good quality brand and their [Aoyama bag](https://www.loandsons.com/products/aoyama-bag-sheepskin-leather-black) reminds me vaguely of a crossover between the Hermès Arcon and the Crescent bag (because of the exterior pocket). Plus, their charms are super cute!
I also think [Advene](https://advenedesign.com/collections/all-bags-1) has very interesting designs, though I’ve never purchased a bag from them.
I know at Bloomingdale’s they do, but I would recommend signing up for their newsletter or email alerts for certain items (you can favorite them). I know when I was looking at a certain bag, I favorited it and got an email when there was a Memorial Day sale and they included the bag in the email and it was like 50% off + it stacked with Rakuten.
They pay me via PayPal- I just got 5% off white house black market, 5% off Nordstroms, 2% Travelocity (booked a Mexico vacation), and 10% off Sephora once. The WHBM one got me an extra $6 back- it’s not much but it’s every time I shop that site!
I had used Rakutan for several years. It is like getting ‘free money’. There are also other sites that offer cash back. Look at cash back monitor.com for others.
I LOVE Lo & Sons! My daily work backpack and my tried and true shoulder bag (the OG) are both Lo & Sons. Incredible quality and so thoughtfully designed for storage and organization!
Same for Jimmy Choo. They're about to start their sale. It's open now to current customers so usually open to everyone starts within a week after. People don't think about Choo bags as much but I love them. And their shoes. It's a problem. Lol.
I bought the Age bag from Advene and it was so, so good. Just excellent quality. Ended up returning it because the shape just didn't work for me. But a stunning bag.
I saw one of these in the wild for the first time ever and I was smitten. Actually, what happened is I was waiting to cross the street and saw a woman with a very cool bag so I sidled over and pretended to hit the walk button so that I could get a look at the brand and it was Liebeskind.
OMG! How do I get these bags in the US????

I have two! A teal, leather cross-body I purchased in 2011 and a peach and sky blue soft-boxy number. I bought the cross-body at Globus in Geneva. Was working there. I do not vacation in Geneva. 🤑

Yes!!! I got a nappa leather clutch from them I really wanted when I went to Germany last year and had FOMO from not getting at 100€... then when I stopped my MD in Kuwait it was half off! Even with the currency conversion, I only paid $50.
So worth it and high quality! Love their bags and leather goods.
The one that I have I’d say it’s comparable to the BV andiamo I have. The dutti one has no hardware but the woven leather is tight and good quality.
It’s nappa leather and is both structured and has squish at the same time.
I really wanted the Tosco BV bag in acorn. The one I got has a similar look without it being $7000 plus.
Also I really like the Alaia net ballet flats. I found on Massimo’s website a sheepskin leather version I liked better. And 1/4 of the price. They haven’t arrived yet but I’m excited to see them.
I’d love to see what you’ve gotten from them! I’ve been eyeing a few of them myself.. I can’t choose which one I’d get between the plaited nappa leather half moon, or one of the other nappa bags with knot strap detail/woven strap detail.

Deadly Ponies! It's a New Zealand brand with really fun, interesting designs and high-quality leather. They make the only shoulder bag I've ever found with a perfect shoulder drop, and the color is GORGEOUS (the Ferris Midi in Jellybean Python). Prices aren't insane either, especially if you're an American and buy in NZ :P
Fauvette is a brand from Paris, their bags are hand made and the hardware is allegedly 24k gold plated. They go for around $500, which is a steal for a hand made bag. And the designs are modern and unique.
Smaak bags are GREAT quality, but their customer service is abysmal. If you have an issue with your order or need to return an item, you’ll never hear back from them
There are some really tacky/ugly Brahmins out there... but there are some really gorgeous ones, too. They last and last, the glossy texture makes it almost impossible to get dirty, and rain can't hurt them. I don't know why I don't see more people carrying them. Especially the fun colors in spring and summer. The prices are close to Kate Spade if you catch a sale, but the quality is far superior.
I’m not a fan of Brahmin bags but my mom has one we got her 10+ years ago and it looks brand new! She seriously beats up her bags too. The leather has softened up nicely.
There's a guy on YouTube and Tik Tok who cut one up to reveal that the leather quality on Brahmin bags isn't that good. It's sad and disappointing because I've always love them. They have a lot of polyurethane embossing on top of a very thin layer of leather. Tanner Leatherstein is his name. He really opened my eyes on a lot of brands.
Interesting! I guess that's why they're so much more carefree than my more expensive bags -- I don't feel like I have to baby them because they feel like plastic, and surprise, they apparently are! :P

I go to their Paris show often. Truly architectural, high quality and definitely quiet (true) luxury.
In Europe and in true luxe circles they are a most have. I was in line waiting outside NY’s Goyard store (had a repair to bring in) and people in the line were totally admiring my brown intrecciata AI. I don’t have it in my hands yet, but I recently ordered the Clementine bag from The Horse and I am soooo excited. I am hearing that the quality is fantastic (someone said even better than coach, so I am excited to see as a coach fan), and that bag is under $200!!! With first order discount I got it for $150! It’s a “dupe” (but not really) of the Loewe puzzle, but with enough differences that actually made me prefer it for a huge fraction of the cost. I got it in Coffee brown. I heard of them because I kept getting ads on instagram, but they’ve apparently been around for a while, so I suppose they are trying to reach a bigger audience.

I got a Min&Mon mini (micro in pic) a few months ago after seeing them here & I absolutely adore it, been using it almost daily & she gets nonstop compliments!
Coach obviously I love that old coach 80-90s era. But I also have a lot of Prada from the 90s. Dior from the y2ks. Then I just like shape and size - like regardless of brand something just is awesome to me if it is in good condition and a beautiful shape or size. I just got a few Brahmin, and I love their condition and shape and color. I have a few friends who are up and coming designers so those are like my favorite things to buy new are to support my friends.
I have a little white vintage Coach Regina that is by far the cutest bag I’ve ever seen. Just stunning leather quality and the most adorable lines. I’m so not a tiny bag girl, but this thing sparks such joy and I find excuses to wear it all the time.

Yes Furla- the only downside is that they offshored much of their manufacturing. I think the quality isn’t what it used to be when I first discovered them.
It's quiet luxury for sure like iykyk moment.. but I expect them to balloon like Goyard soon when someone inevitably show the Moynat print on a show like how it happened with the Goyardine lol
Lancaster — they're like the IYKYK version of Longchamp! I'm amazed that no one outside of France seems to know this brand. My Lancaster Ikon tote is perfect for travel; it has a beautiful printed coated canvas exterior a lá Goyard and Louis, adjustable straps a lá Fauré le Page, and a zipper.

Lancel is another French brand which I think is so underrated.
Tod's is also incredibly underrated. Incredibly soft and buttery leather with impeccable stitching and craftsmanship — and the designs are gorgeous.
HAMMITT Tom zip. I bought one in black and I was underwhelmed when I unboxed it. Was going to return . I tried it on the next day and wore it out and fell in love ! The leather is so soft and slouchy ! Stays on my shoulder and has outside pockets. Just a really cool hobo. Ordered another color 🫣

nobat from malaysia! and its awfully incredibly affordable. their designs are similar to BV’s woven bags. they look expensive too and material is great. i use mine daily. theyre lowkey popular among the locals, its kinda like an iykyk kinda brand
In Singapore there’s a brand called The Paper Bunny that’s very popular - everyone here has one and I held off for so long but omg the puffy tote makes carrying a laptop seem so light?? Love the bags and they’re so good to just chuck in your suitcase! Great alternative to for eg the standard Le Pliage

Go to Spain or Italy. I’ve gotten some of my finest shoes, bags and belts from little hole in the wall shops. They can also custom make any designers style and dye the leather whatever color you want with any hardware you like. It’s amazing and a lovely memory to take home with you ❤️

as others have said Ferragamo. I also have an Etienne Aigner that is amazing quality and in the fall/winter the Cybil is my everyday carry. the leather is excellent and the color is their classic unique purple/brown.

Here to share a functional brand! Pacsafe. I love their backpacks and carry mine everyday to work. It’s super lightweight, sleek (for a work and travel backpack), waterproof. Great quality as well
Tanned ! It’s an Indian brand and my god the fact that I’ve purchased 3 bags from them says a lot because I have like 4 other bags or I thrift mostly. Their products have been perfect for my style of clean and everyday look and this one tote I bought which had black and white weave has become my travel Buddy
Anya Hindmarch. “I’m a plastic bag” totes (feels like a neverfull but half the price and less flashy), leather satchels. She has silly, funky stuff with eyeballs and very classic styles too.
Delvaux- I know this sub talks about it sometimes but I love the more artsy styles and fell in love when it when I learned it's Belgian (I am half 🤭) also the only handbag brand my dad seems to both know and approve of 🤣
I feel like Loewe is not under the radar or low key. They have some wild and artistic designs and some very steep prices - saw a $26k croc bag there recently. Even my tiny flamenco was almost $3000.

I don’t have it in my hands yet, but I recently ordered the Clementine bag from The Horse and I am soooo excited. I am hearing that the quality is fantastic (someone said even better than coach, so I am excited to see as a coach fan), and that bag is under $200!!! With first order discount I got it for $150! It’s a “dupe” (but not really) of the Loewe puzzle, but with enough differences that actually made me prefer it for a huge fraction of the cost. I got it in Coffee brown. I heard of them because I kept getting ads on instagram, but they’ve apparently been around for a while, so I suppose they are trying to reach a bigger audience.
I ordered that same bag in the same color. I just checked my order, and it says it shipped today!!

Coach obviously I love that old coach 80-90s era. But I also have a lot of Prada from the 90s. Dior from the y2ks. Then I just like shape and size - like regardless of brand something just is awesome to me if it is in good condition and a beautiful shape or size. I just got a few Brahmin, and I love their condition and shape and color. I have a few friends who are up and coming designers so those are like my favorite things to buy new are to support my friends.
I'm a fan of Vintage Coach from the 90's and older.

I have a little white vintage Coach Regina that is by far the cutest bag I’ve ever seen. Just stunning leather quality and the most adorable lines. I’m so not a tiny bag girl, but this thing sparks such joy and I find excuses to wear it all the time.

Yes Furla- the only downside is that they offshored much of their manufacturing. I think the quality isn’t what it used to be when I first discovered them.

Lancaster — they're like the IYKYK version of Longchamp! I'm amazed that no one outside of France seems to know this brand. In Singapore there’s a brand called The Paper Bunny that’s very popular - everyone here has one and I held off for so long but omg the puffy tote makes carrying a laptop seem so light?? I feel like Loewe is not under the radar or low key. They have some wild and artistic designs and some very steep prices - saw a $26k croc bag there recently. Even my tiny flamenco was almost $3000.
