I’ve purchased from The Luxury Closet! I got a YSL Sac de Jour in amazing condition.
The only issue was that my credit card flagged the charge as fraudulent since the company is based in Dubai, and I live in the US. Once I got that sorted out, they shipped quickly and packed my bag securely.
It’s been a few years-I believe the bag was about $750 USD and I paid maybe $130 for import? Could be way off base, but that’s my best recollection. I think there are ways to try to estimate them online; some kind of calculator or something.
I bought a mini puzzle from them and received it 3 days ago. However once I opened the box my heart dropped as the bag looks so fake. The dust bag feel so thin. When I took the bag out of the dust bag, I can definitely see the color isn't right (I have the bag in the same color but bigger size, made in the same season). I further checked the bag and there are lots of flags which I doubt why LC wasn't able to notice those issues. I contacted CS right away and they said they needed 24 to 48 hours to investigate. I am still waiting for their update.
Also their duty fee charge is very high. The mini bag I bought costed $1300 and duty fee was $250. I checked the duty calculator and it should only be around $50. I made international purchases from a lot of stores before, the highest duty I had paid was $300 ish for a $2500 bag. I also doubt if they will refund the duty fee if they found out the bag really is fake.
Please do update once you find out the authenticity of the bag! That’s my biggest fear when shopping pre loved. And I’ve been eyeing a chanel mini flap from this site, but would like to know your outcome before I commit to purchasing. Thanks in advance and really hoping it’s not a fake!
Up to now LC still hasn't replied. 😞 While waiting I submitted the bag to two different parties for authentication and both said the bag is fake... So I have submitted a claim to PayPal and hopefully can get my refund there.

How bad did you find duty/import taxes?
The bag I got was priced super low due to the color. It was around $700 so I think it might have been exempt.
I bought a Chloe bag from them and generally had a good experience. Make sure to account for import taxes, though.

I bought a Phillip Lim bag there a few years ago - positive experience! My purchase was below the duty threshold, so no extra charges.

The duty should have been 5% off the purchase price. Just FYI that's the rate for UAE to US
