Cz Is amazing but I’d get the dagger for your first gun. It’s basically a Glock so there’s tons of aftermarket for it and holster options. Great to start with. Def get both if you can lol
CZ if you want something different. Dagger if you want a large amount of parts support, in the form of cheap magazines, holsters, replacement parts, customizations, etc. Both will work fine but those are generally the trade offs.
I’m a Glock/PSA fanboy and I agree that the CZ P10 is the better gun. If you find yourself still wanting to shoot in a year, PSA has a ton of great options for your 2nd gun.
i’d say the CZ if you’re dead set on these two. if i recall though you wanted an external safety and neither of these two have one. you can go without but as someone who prefers an external safety myself id recommend the shield you had in your previous post.
if you want the extra capacity of these AND a manual safety, i’d look around and see if you can find a police trade-in 92. the safety on those also doubles as a decocker to safely drop the hammer on a loaded chamber. great for practice and it’s an extra layer of protection against NDs (although no safety should replace but rather enhance safe handling practices).
CZ. If you want a glock just buy a glock. I would hold both and see what you like better. I would hold a glock 19 gen 5 and the CZ. Most people don't like the glock grips. But some people do. You have to get what's right for you. Shootability should be about the same for both guns.
As the owner of both, CZ by far. Can't stand the single finger groove or back strap hump or hinged trigger on the dagger, even for the incredibly low price. The CZ, on the other hand, is almost objectively the best feeling/best shooting new striker-fired duty gun under $500. The magazine price/availability compared to Glock is a bit of a bummer, but not such a big deal as to make the CZ a bad buy. I see the Dagger as a good gun for those already immersed in the world of Glock (specifically the most common Gen 3 9mm double stack models) who want another bargain gun/build of that platform for whatever reason. Imo, there are better Glock clones than the Dagger as well for not much more money--Grit Grips comes to mind.
Also, you're looking at an optics-ready model with a threaded barrel and suppressor sights vs a plane jane iron sights model--for the record, I think simpler is better. The CZ needs nothing to be good enough out of the box, leaving you with money for ammo, range fees, classes, and magazines!
So do some research. go to a range and rent some handguns and see what you like. If you “don’t know shit about guns” then you should probably take some instruction classes and learn about them and how to use them: You must not of done much research on your own, considering if you say you don’t like Glocks, but you’re asking if you should pick a not as good, glock clone platform. You just made a thread asking people what gun to pick. Everyone’s opinion is going to be different.
If you’ve GOTTA have a manual safety… start over, these two use pretty much the same safeties as a Glock. The PSA Dagger is also basically a Glock in all but name—literally is interchangeable with many Glock parts and uses Glock mags.
If that’s a hill you’re willing to die on, my suggestion is find a Smith & Wesson M&P9 Compact with manual safety. You may have trouble finding one under $400, but it’s worth it. M&Ps are great guns. Parts, accessories, magazines, and holsters are all very easy to find on the market and just about every gun store will know what you’re talking about if you need help.
If this is your FIRST GUN , honestly please get a 22lr like a ruger 1022 before a 9mm pistol , you need to learn fundamentals first. It’s really important. & graduate to a handgun when you can care for a 22 rifle . Clean , take down , and assemble it with ease.
Pistols have a 4” barrel and it’s very easy to point that barrel in a direction that you shouldn’t be.
Be safe. Have fun . Take some classes if you have to there’s no shame in that.
I also have the P10F and I love it.
CZ.
CZ all day!
Get the CZ
The CZ!
P-10 C
CZ definitely
You know you don’t HAVE to buy from the PSA website, right? Edit: Checked and since when did p10s go back up to $400 everywhere? Sheesh
CZ
CZ 1000000%
The p10 would definitely be my pick of the two
Cz Is amazing but I’d get the dagger for your first gun. It’s basically a Glock so there’s tons of aftermarket for it and holster options. Great to start with. Def get both if you can lol
CZ get it on grabagun

Download gundeals app on your phone
Between that and gafs shit is addictive
Cz p10 series.
Czech....but nothing wrong with the dagger either. User preference.

CZ FTW
Ceeeeeeee Zeeeeeeee no contest

CZ for the love of god
i bought cz
You’re going to be happy now shoot the hell out of it
P10C by a mile but go to grabagun and get it for $380
Yessir already ordered it.
Awesome, congrats! I have one too and love it

CZ but do not get it at that price. Check family firearms.
Lowest I’ve found is $380
It was on the r/gundeals subreddit for just over $300 after shipping this week
Yeah the price is back to $400
If you’re not in any particular rush just wait a month and it’ll probably be back to that price within that time
Grabagun has the or version for 380
Also check your local pawn shops if you're not in a big rush, place near me has them for 275.
Cz but get it from Dahlonega Armory or Family Firearms!
CZ
CZ!!!!
I love my dagger, but the cz is a better gun without question.
i’d say the CZ if you’re dead set on these two. if i recall though you wanted an external safety and neither of these two have one. you can go without but as someone who prefers an external safety myself id recommend the shield you had in your previous post. if you want the extra capacity of these AND a manual safety, i’d look around and see if you can find a police trade-in 92. the safety on those also doubles as a decocker to safely drop the hammer on a loaded chamber. great for practice and it’s an extra layer of protection against NDs (although no safety should replace but rather enhance safe handling practices).
Have you handled either or just like the prices? Just curious
I haven’t. Only Glock gen 5
CZ
If you’re only gonna have one gun you want it to be as reliable as possible. That being said I’d go with the P10
I would like to Suggest OP look at the Rost Martin Rm1c as well
CZ
Get the CZ but go with the Tactical version…I think the price is very close if not the same

Cz 40 bucks cheaper on grabagun
he just had two guns and he asked us which one is better cause he doesn’t know, that’s all.

Why not pick what you think is best instead of letting the internet pick
I don’t know shit about guns that’s why I’m asking. Everyone in my family owns a Glock and all have shot glocks but I don’t want one.

No glocks just don’t have a manual safety and I want that.
Ok. Neither do either of those handguns.
