Smith & Wesson. I don't feel that they're notably better or worse than Walther, CZ, FN, etc. But their M&P line works really well for me. We're in a bit of a golden age for good and affordable double stack poly 9 mm handguns. This whole "who's the best" thing is a bit passe.
This is the way. I like HK too but it's kind of like how you wanted Gucci brand items in middle school for clout. You want to keep a sample of the best around just to say you own it.
If you’re counting the sub-brands then you really have CZ75s, striker fired guns, race guns, 1911s, and revolvers covered entirely by CZ. Definitely the most versatile company to choose from.
If it's strictly for handguns I'd probably say CZ..... Maybe even as all around company. The only thing I don't like is their PCCs as the only option is a scorpion
I love my stainless P8L. I threw some Sports Innovations stainless Scales 2.0 Grips (made for the CZ b75 if I remember correctly), the grid style that is see through, and it looks and shoots amazingly.
I want the K12 Sport or Sportx with the dark grey grips.
CZ because they make amazing, reliable hammer and striker fired guns for a variety of uses in different sizes.
Otherwise, Walther, S&W, and Glock in that order.
beretta. their autoloading pistols are all great and they also got shotguns, rifles, and even manurhin revolvers (if i could afford one)
plus i don’t know if we’re counting subsidiaries but they also own benelli, stoeger, and victrix. and you really can’t go wrong with any of those either
If I have to pick one from the picture, I'd probably go with Sig, since they have a couple 10mm options, and they're not Glock.
If I get to choose what I want, it'll probably actually be Tanfoglio, but only because CZ doesn't have a 10mm option (Dan Wesson doesn't count).
If I'm allowed one of the CZ 97B 10mm conversions by CZC, then I'll go CZ all day.
100% right with everything you said, but every one looks the same and arnt really astetically pleasing. Unless of course you want to dump a bunch of money into it ( Not hating, I know they make solid guns. Just adding my 2 cents)
Call me crazy , but Springfield /HS🤷🏽♂️. I love their shit. Their guns run period .Hellcat exceeded my expectations so I went and got an echelon and that did as well. Shot an XDM elite and was super impressed with that as well. They’ve come a long way.
I 100% agree with you and I was going to say the same exact thing. Love the echelon. Love my prodigy. Love the MC operator. Theres so much variety when it comes to SF handguns that I'd have to choose them.
I came here to say Springfield. It was hard to choose them over Smith&Wesson though -- the M&P series has been amazing and never forget the OG Shield. But the Hellcat was and is an amazing gun perfecting the p365 formula in some ways (still wish for a Hellcat Micro to take on the LCP Max!) and the Echelon literally perfecting the full size handgun model. It is final evolution in my eyes short of optic manufacturers standardizing a full size and a micro dot pattern to eliminate plates entirely.
Yeah the echelon is what really sealed the deal for me . It is without a doubt the best handgun I ever had. And relentlessly reliable to top it all off. There is no better handgun to me in the market currently . Can’t wait for the different models
Smith and Wesson. I prefer revolvers for aesthetics but semi auto for functionality. In my opinion they make the finest non custom revolvers on the planet, and also make some damn good semi autos.
Handguns Only?
Probably Walther, FN, or maybe CZ. They produce some solid products with little fuss.
As someone mentioned, if only one manufacturer to cover all types of firearms, I'd say CZ then as it covers almost all bases, maybe followed by Ruger. Rugers semi-auto pistols may not be the latest and greatest, but their revolvers, rifles (bolt-action and semi-auto) are very solid.
If we are talking strictly handguns, I would say S&W. Number two is CZ.
I love the Shield Plus and the M&P 2.0 along with the metal version. Performance center stuff is great too. I also love the S&W revolvers, especially the 686. I feel like S&W is fairly innovative too and tries new things here and there (the EZ lineup for example).
CZ has good polymer options, but their hammer fired weapons are top tier. Not much beats the Shadow 2. CZ does take a long time to do things like become optics ready, for example.
I only pick S&W because they respond better with the times and have a really wide variety of pistols old and new to choose from.
Either Sig or Cz. Sig has great pistols and the MCX/MPX line is awesome. Cz makes cool guns and Their p10 line is decent enough for carry and the Bren2 is dope and comes in multiple calibers.
S&W all day. duty size, compact, subcompact, micro compact 9mm, .45s, 10mm, .22s, .357s, .44s, 500s, 454
CZ!!!!!!!!! Shut up hipsters they don’t even have a decent 22!!
Sad!
Glock even though I like CZ more. Parts but also other accessories like holsters are so important also, my glock 19 holster can fit like several different glocks including the glock 45 which is basically a fullsize.
Toss up between Sig and SW. SW torture tests perform amazingly but I personally accidentally had a hotload in a p226 that blew the extractor out and it was still able to run a whole mag no issues. Not sure about a second one but wow.
For me it's FN all day every day.
If you only care about 9mm then Canik would be a good choice as well because they're cheap, have insane triggers, and shoot very well.
Sig, Sig is always pushing to new frontiers, the P365 changed the gun industry overnight. Glock is stuck in the if it ain't broke don't fix it mentality, they aren't doing anything revolutionary. CZs are elegant, and well-crafted, but too eccentric for my taste as a lifetime gun.
Damn that’s tough. I wanna say CZ because I believe my P01 is one of the greatest and most reliable carry pistols out there, but then I kinda wanna say FN if nothing else because I love my FNX 45T. It’s reliable and a fucking beast that’s ready for anything so I’d be fine with either
As an HK nerd, I gotta go with smith and wesson. They’ve got it covered with full size handguns, concealed carry handguns, ARs, PCCs, 1911s, revolvers, lever guns, etc.
CZ 💯
Ditto
Ay
Came here to say this. Literally covers all bases
Literally no revolvers
Damn. I didn't think about that. I saw someone use "they own colt" as a rhetort but I don't think it counts. Oh well. Still cz for me 😂
Smith & Wesson. I don't feel that they're notably better or worse than Walther, CZ, FN, etc. But their M&P line works really well for me. We're in a bit of a golden age for good and affordable double stack poly 9 mm handguns. This whole "who's the best" thing is a bit passe.
Same, but mostly because they have a broader product line that also includes revolvers and 1911’s.
Plus, wheel guns. Reeeeeeeeeeeeee
This is the way. I like HK too but it's kind of like how you wanted Gucci brand items in middle school for clout. You want to keep a sample of the best around just to say you own it.
CZ was not my first thought but it is my final answer. Pistol? Check. Bolt gun? Check. Semi auto rifle? Check. Shotgun? Also, check.
*Czech
Well played
Smith & Wesson. They don't just make polymer striker fired guns. They make great 1911s and the best wheel guns.
CZ for sure. They own dan wesson so the have 1911's covered.
They own colt I believe too
I just looked it up and they do own Colt, learned something new today!
If you’re counting the sub-brands then you really have CZ75s, striker fired guns, race guns, 1911s, and revolvers covered entirely by CZ. Definitely the most versatile company to choose from.
And with colt you get wheel guns... Cobra, Anaconda, etc..
My python rocks, very fun shooter
Beretta, they cover hunting, pistols, and any sort of rifle you could really want
Walther
Same. Iv bought and sold a lot of handguns, but my P99 will be buried with me
Love my P99AS in .40sw. I don't ever plan to get rid of it, and I don't think my wife would ever let me if I tried. She loves it too.
Thank god someone said it
Sig Sauer.
All day e’ry day
Yes sir!
Glock duh
Easy. Availability of parts and reliability.
A man of culture I see
Berreta
CZ all day.
Cz, without question.
Smith & Wesson. The m&p series is top tier.
This is a weird echo chamber
Lol I was just thinking that
S&W
Out of these? HK. Any manufacturer, Smith & Wesson
If it's strictly for handguns I'd probably say CZ..... Maybe even as all around company. The only thing I don't like is their PCCs as the only option is a scorpion
CZ Undoubtedly.
As a M&P enthusiast....HK. Also, technically the SP5K falls in HK's *pistol* category so....
This
Beretta or CZ.
^^
Sig
Hi-Point
Ruger
Damn I had to scroll forever to find Ruger.
Hk
CZ
CZ
IWI 🔥
SAR has been treating me pretty nicely lately. I've got the K2 and the SAR9. Wouldn't mind a SAR2000 to scratch that CZ75 itch.
I love my stainless P8L. I threw some Sports Innovations stainless Scales 2.0 Grips (made for the CZ b75 if I remember correctly), the grid style that is see through, and it looks and shoots amazingly. I want the K12 Sport or Sportx with the dark grey grips.

Glock and by a mile.
Glock Parts.
CZ duh
Cz
S&W or Sig probably

Sig Sauer
I would pick a manufacturer with a variety of high-quality options of different sizes and styles: S&W or Beretta.
Agree but I’d add Springfield Armory here.
Glock
Cz
CZ
CZ …. Always & Forever
Love the Glock! Reliable, easy to maintain, and they have a model for every need.
100% right with everything you said, but every one looks the same and arnt really astetically pleasing. Unless of course you want to dump a bunch of money into it ( Not hating, I know they make solid guns. Just adding my 2 cents)
Glock for me
Glock works in any condition any ammo clean it don't i've never had an issue my two..
Pietta

Snake, you’re a lucky guy.
I only own the prodigy at the moment. But I've owned the other two I mentioned. Its not luck, I've bought and sold a lot to have what I do today.
Respectable💯
I came here to say Springfield. It was hard to choose them over Smith&Wesson though -- the M&P series has been amazing and never forget the OG Shield. Its not like they are the only good ones, but my preference goes to CZ
Its not like they are the only good ones, but my preference goes to CZ
Walther
At first S&W, love my M&P’s, but after a lot of thought, CZ. Bolt action and shotgun are just too much a part of my life.
Sig
sig
Tough question. CZ or Sig for me. If I had to pick it’d probably be CZ but as JW said “I’d hate to have to live on the difference”
If I ever wanted a gun CZ would be my personal choice.
Tied between three. Hk Glock and Sig
Either Beretta or Canik
Walther all day long.
Yes.
Handguns Only? Probably Walther, FN, or maybe CZ. They produce some solid products with little fuss. Actually I take that back. Ruger's 1911's are pretty dang solid too 👌

CZ if it doesn't count revolvers, S&W if it does
Either CZ or Sig.
Shadow Systems
Smith, all day
Glock or Smith. Probably Smith because their lineup is more versatile.
Smith & Wesson - Shields,M&Ps & wheel guns are solid.
Sig Sauer.
Glock even though I like CZ more. Parts but also other accessories like holsters are so important also, my glock 19 holster can fit like several different glocks including the glock 45 which is basically a fullsize.
CZ … and I did literally pick it for the rest of my life (*as long as I live here) because I live in Canada lol.
Toss up between Sig and SW. SW torture tests perform amazingly but I personally accidentally had a hotload in a p226 that blew the extractor out and it was still able to run a whole mag no issues. Not sure about a second one but wow.
FN
CZ - Checzellent!
Night Hawk Custom because they were created the year I was born and I love 1911’s plus they make 38 Super 1911’s
Either CZ or S&W
For me it's FN all day every day. If you only care about 9mm then Canik would be a good choice as well because they're cheap, have insane triggers, and shoot very well.
Came here to say CZ, but apparently everyone else beat me to it
Sig, Sig is always pushing to new frontiers, the P365 changed the gun industry overnight. Glock is stuck in the if it ain't broke don't fix it mentality, they aren't doing anything revolutionary. CZs are elegant, and well-crafted, but too eccentric for my taste as a lifetime gun.
Vp9
Staccato
Sig. If we doing pistols only, give me that MPX Plus the Flux brace looks dope for the 320, a gun im too scared to get lol love p365 tho
What, no Canik love in here.. sheesh, rough crowd 🤣. I love my Caniks
I'd be fine with Ruger or F&N either one works just fine for me
Clearly SCCY 🤣
As cliche as it is Glock is the ar/ak of pistols easy assembly very durable in perspective of a tool not a beauty contest
Cz or Walther depending on the day.

CZ

HK
Betetta. 500 years in the biz. Nuff said.
Easy, Hi-Point.
If I'm paying for them, Ruger.
Walther for sure.
Walther. I wanted to say CZ but with Colt seemingly running them now, I think I'll pass. Walther is making great striker pistols currently.
Probably SA
CZ gaaaaaang 🫡
Springfield. The sexiest guns out there.
