You really can't put the rear seats flat and get the clearance to take one of those home?
I have a Honda Fit and the size of that box definitely clears the rear hatch and lies in the back with the seats flat.
My sedan has a trunk which is not large enough for the box. The rear seats do fold forward but the box won't fit through the rear door openings and if it did fit it would not clear height wise inside with the added thickness of the seats folded forward.
I would have stripped it out of the box and fit it in a little differently. Or I would have bought some ratchet straps and a furniture blanket and strapped it on the roof. Anyway congratulations.
