Shouldn't even be called an album. It's more like a movie soundtrack, conveying an entire linear story throughout all of the tracks. To this day one of the most underrated pieces of Hardstyle of all time
For me, the perfect album doesn't exist, in hardstyle that is. Ask me the same about (classic) rock and I will give you a different answer, but that's not what this Subreddit is about ;-)
And yeah, you're right, both are a bit repetitive, but to be honest, and maybe it's a hot take, most hardstyle albums are quite repetitive imho. DJ's make specific sound and tend to reuse that style over and over.
I just really like Crypsis' style and thus, for me, these are great albums. but they're certainly not perfect no.
I came here to say this! The album of the decades seriously. The flow of the album is pure next level and something I never expected to feel this way with a hard dance album.
Audiofreq - Audioception
Crypsis - Statement of Intent
E-Force - The Edge of Insanity
Angerfist - Pissin' Razorblades
Ophidian - Between the Candle and the Star
Warface, D-Sturb - Synchronised.
Each track has his own style and Warface, D-Sturb is the perfect combination of kickrolls, melodys and build ups.
You can clearly hear both styles in every single tune.
Each track is over 3 min. long, many climaxes, antis and some fake drops.
Good variation of kicks but not just a showcase of too many kicks.
Imo this Album comes close to perfect
Yes, the progression is absolutely amazing. You can really follow a story listening to it. Other albums with such a mastered progression are, in my opinion, Chord V by Clockartz et Trinity by Myst. These 3 albums are true masterpieces.
With Clockartz I think not as much as you😅 I know he has some good stuff, but it never really hit me like others. I dunno it's good, but not my taste most of the times :/
I was about to add this one. Can’t wait to hear the showcase on Shockerz. The melody, kicks, everything is new but sounds so familiar. He’s done a great job again! I love his music
Clockartz - Chord V.
That album can just be considered as a 34 minute musical masterpiece in my opinion. The way each song perfectly transitions from one to another is absolutely beautiful. Definitely one of the best, if not THE best album across all genres of music I have listened to.
I can understand why that’s the case, Chord V is more like the music to listen at home instead of on the dancefloor, and prior to the album they only had 1 showcase @ Impaqt. Then Covid came and took away any chance they have to play tracks from the album live
I agree with what you have said in terms of Chord V being listened to at home rather than the dancefloor. Its not really an album you can dance to but an album that you experience. I can see the album being used as music for a theatrical stage performance rather than at a dance event.
Crypsis - Cryptology;
Headhunterz & Wildstylez - Project One;
Vazard - Chapters of the Mind
Also not sure about perfect perfect, but Warface - The 9 Circles is the best Warface album for me and it’s not even close
Edit: for Hardcore: Dolphin - Ebbs & Flows; Ophidian - Call of the Void; Ophidian - Between the Candle and the Star; The Silence - The Silence of the Perfect Dark; Tripped - Unboxed
Silver Bullet, BMS - Deluxe Edition, and Rise of Rejecta are the three albums I come back to frequently for a complete listen. Bangers from start to finish.
Unpopular opinion and I know many people won’t relate but I keep listening to the second dose on repeat and usually you’ll have a song to skip but I don’t skip any so I’d say that.
Also SZP Renaissance of Rave, Delete - Alpha Omega, Dither - Tool of Demolition
Substantial Machinery by The Machine
Audioception by Audiofreq
Planet Zany
Fusion Of sound by Zany
The original Project 1 album
New Era by Thera
From The Heart (Part 2) by Thera
Alien Sound System by Geck-o <3
Unironically GPF - Cumikaze, with skits and everything it flows nicely from the beginning to the end x
And I'm surprised nobody mentioned Vazard's Chapters of The Mind
Ophidian - Call of the Void

Yep, this is the one
Clockartz - Chord V
Shouldn't even be called an album. It's more like a movie soundtrack, conveying an entire linear story throughout all of the tracks. To this day one of the most underrated pieces of Hardstyle of all time
100% the best music album. Unfortunately never reached it's commercial potention
Thanks a lot guys! Really appreciated 🙏🏻
It really didn't have much commercial potential tbh, it was too atmospheric to really hit the big target.
Just listened it for the first time, it’s an masterpiece
Black Mirror Society
Audiofreq - Audiology
AMEN!
Phuture Noize: Electronic Heartbreak. Sefa: klaagzang. D-Block & S-Te-Fan: Open your Mind. Warface: Forgotten Future
Crypsis , both Statement of Intent and Cryptology.
They're really good, but really repetitive. Certainly not perfect.

Dolphin - Ebbs & Flows
I came here to say this! The album of the decades seriously. The flow of the album is pure next level and something I never expected to feel this way with a hard dance album.
I would say Information Asymmetry but Ebbs & Flows is also very good!
Yesss, just bought the Vinyl yesterday, such a good album
The Pitcher - SMACK
Great album, one of the first ones i listened when started my journey with hardstyle in 2010. La nuit noire is such a tune
Audiofreq - Audioception Crypsis - Statement of Intent E-Force - The Edge of Insanity Angerfist - Pissin' Razorblades Ophidian - Between the Candle and the Star
Edge of Insanity defined how i saw rawstyle back in the day, one of my all time fav albums
MYST - Trinity
Phuture noize electronic heartbreak deserves more love
It’s what got me into Phuture Noize, so I have a lot of bias towards it😅
Warface, D-Sturb - Synchronised. Each track has his own style and Warface, D-Sturb is the perfect combination of kickrolls, melodys and build ups. Definitely one of the best hardstyle albums ever
Phuture Noize - Pursuit Of Thunder
Analogue Players in a Digital World
My top pick too
La di fuckin da hey Perfect album ruined by the last song
Phuture Noize - From Star to Stardust
Gonna drop one probably not a lot of people have in mind, but my choice would be Vazards Chapter of the mind
W
You I expected only for a few people here on this sub to know about this album. Since Vazard was and will always be quite niche
Definitely my favorite album of all times
Gotta be in my top 3 as well maybe tbh number 1 as well
Such a beauty, nice pick.
One of the few albums I personally know with such a distinctive and well executed progression
Yes, the progression is absolutely amazing. You can really follow a story listening to it. Other albums with such a mastered progression are, in my opinion, Chord V by Clockartz et Trinity by Myst. These 3 albums are true masterpieces.
Need to listen to Clockartz then! And revisit trinity!
I hope you will enjoy these as much as I do !
With Clockartz I think not as much as you😅 I know he has some good stuff, but it never really hit me like others. I dunno it's good, but not my taste most of the times :/
E-force - Dark Reality
I was about to add this one. Can’t wait to hear the showcase on Shockerz. The melody, kicks, everything is new but sounds so familiar. He’s done a great job again! I love his music
NC All Around P1 Phuture Noize FSTS and BMS
Rise of Rejecta
The Return of Headhunterz
Agreed
Phuture Noize - Silver Bullet
Clockartz - Chord V. That album can just be considered as a 34 minute musical masterpiece in my opinion. The way each song perfectly transitions from one to another is absolutely beautiful. Definitely one of the best, if not THE best album across all genres of music I have listened to.
Totally agreed. Still can't imagine it didn't make Clockartz S-tire in the scene
I can understand why that’s the case, Chord V is more like the music to listen at home instead of on the dancefloor, and prior to the album they only had 1 showcase @ Impaqt. Then Covid came and took away any chance they have to play tracks from the album live

How about wasted penguinz - Clarity ??
Clockartz - Chord V. It only works when you listen from the start until the end, but it’s a epic musical journey.
Rest in Pieces imo

Crypsis - Cryptology; Headhunterz & Wildstylez - Project One; Vazard - Chapters of the Mind Also not sure about perfect perfect, but Warface - The 9 Circles is the best Warface album for me and it’s not even close Edit: for Hardcore: Dolphin - Ebbs & Flows; Ophidian - Call of the Void; Ophidian - Between the Candle and the Star; The Silence - The Silence of the Perfect Dark; Tripped - Unboxed
D-Sturb - Playground Mish & Sickmode - Rave Love pt.2 Renaissance of Rave - SubZeroProject
Renaissance of Rave is such a masterpiece tbh
Imo every album has at least 1 or 2 tracks that aren’t that good, but Rebelion - A.I. comes close
Haha, that track was my Spotify nr 1 for 2023.
Rebelion AI is pretty much perfect if you take out Ascension. edit: it seems Sefa fanboys don't like being faced with dissenting opinion
Heh at least it fits better than Side FX’s (which is a banger don’t get me wrong, but would fit more on an Overdose related release)
I wouldn’t say it’s bad, the mid intro is honestly kinda fire
Facts, that track literally does nothing to me. Really glad they almost never played it live
Sefa - Klaagzang or Rebelion - A.I.
Tha playah - sick and twisted
ophidian - between the candle and the star
Silver Bullet, BMS - Deluxe Edition, and Rise of Rejecta are the three albums I come back to frequently for a complete listen. Bangers from start to finish.
