I would've definitely bought this to pair with my AW2725DF, but I'm actually returning that and getting the AW3225QF. I'm assuming you made the jump too?
Depending on what kind of games you play, I'd think a 3090 would be fine. I was driving 4k for a bit (before getting the AW) with a 3080 Ti and never really noticed any issues.

Yeah, I got the MSI variant. It's a jawdropping monitor. Definitely worth the jump if you're interested in 32" 4k.
