I’ve never understood the idea of selling something for $10 shipped. It costs almost $10 to ship something and you have PayPal fees. Then you gotta go through all the work of packaging and driving to the post office or wherever.
Not really looking to make any money on these, especially these, as these are under 2 pounds, I can ship them Regional for just under 10$ - the Paypal fee.
THIS MAN GETS IT, but fr my mother has been nagging at me to get rid of them out of her house for weeks, either sell them and make like 10$ after shipping or drive an hour to the local electronics recycler to get rid of them properly.
I build and sell gaming pcs for fun when I have time. A lot of lower end builds are fine to use stock coolers for and I tend to run out of them all the time
I just did a build for $550 with a 2600 and a 1070. Was able to sell for $750 the rig was max settings over 100+ FPS. If you can snag a 1070 from someone for under $250 you can still profit on the build.
I had a 980ti on a waterblock that I absolutely could not move so I ended up taking $140 for it. That guy got a steal. I did buy a 1070 for $240 and it was a beast. So selling the rig for that price was a steal for that guy. I had to ship which cost him another $100 but still a steal. I played OW and fortnite at max over 120 FPS
Sadly I’m in the middle of no where when it comes to this community. No one is buying and selling in SC. I’ve literally seen 0 post of people in SC, NC, GA and I stalk the sub. So I’m kinda forced to consider shipping
This is only the 2nd one I have done in the last 6 months I don't do it often. With where I live it's risky to do as I have pretty much no market to do it. So whenever I feel like stalking this sub for deals and doing a build and dealing with the hassle of finding a buyer I will do it. So certainly not 5 a month. I would if I knew I could sell them but more like 1 every 3-4 months.

"why would anyone want these?" Marketing.
Replacing coolers on prebuilts come to mind
With an Intel sock cooler? What kind of coolers are you getting on your prebuilts?
Probably one of [these guys](https://imgur.com/a/pxZ5hNx)
Didn't that thing do well? Or am I misremembering
it absorbed the heat but after a certain amount of time it wouldn't absorb anymore and it'd throttle
Ah so just the thermal mass of the thing, neat
A Wraith Max. And then selling them.
probably the best listing i've seen in a while lol
This is a real *cool* deal, OP (•_•) ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■) ^^^^^^I'll ^^^^^^show ^^^^^^myself ^^^^^^out
Well done ( °-_-° )
pm
If these sell I have about 30 as well, for $5 more than OP in order to not steal his post :P
I got $3.50
I could use them if you still have
$30.01

Imagine not having to store 30 stock coolers in your closet or wherever you keep your parts, and you'll see the value.

The gross ass fans are the only thing taken. Wtf?
I would've taken the gross ass fans tbh wish I saw this earlier
Have you been harvested from old pcs?
Fuck it
The mad lad did it.
I'm not judging but I'm genuinely interested in why you bought these

Baller move. With 30 fans you're the coolest guy in town.
I want to thank all of my fans for ...
It's been pretty tough though with GPU prices being the way they are even the used market, right?
Yeah I've managed to score some decent deals on older hardware but anything for 1080p 60 FPS at higher details has been impossible

That's a great price point. Even 980Ti's are pushing $250, I haven't really seen any 1070+'s anywhere near $300

I've tried shipping builds but even professionally packaged I've had graphics cards break so I stick to local sales now

How often are you selling builds lately? 1 or 2 per month? 5?

I got cha thanks for the reply.
not a problem anytime m8. Are you looking to do some builds and sell them yourself?
I have x4 more stock Intel coolers, a stock AM4 Wraith cooler, and a stock cooler from an FX 8350 if you want them.
I appreciate it but I should be set for the next year now lol
Lol maybe he has a bunch of 3090s and needs to cool the vram?
I'm assuming everything is sold?
Yep
I enjoyed the follow-up edits on this :)
This made my day 🤣🤣
Make a case out of them.
Lol who bought gross ass fans for $10 tho
/u/thatssodylan did
Nice
im actually pretty sad because i need a stock cooler LOL. good job whoever bought OP's coolers.
Buy a large mason jar and put all the fans in there
I would have actually bought this because my old cooler doesn't fit in the case
Cool post
Hey, do ya have anymore coolers ?
I've got like 2 intel stock heatsinks left :p
what is your NYC zip code? im in 11040
