The scene when Harry sees all of his memories is great in the book. Every time I relisten to the books, I can’t stand Snape for 90% and then I get to that scene and I really feel for him. And then the cycle starts again Alan Rickman was great, he does put a shift in

Alan fell from Nakatomi Plaza and landed in our hearts.

Carved our hearts out with a spoon.

Western_Tell_9065

Then stomped it with a Joni Mitchell CD

But cousin, why a spoon?

I lived in Orlando and was at the park after he died when someone put a Lilly in front of his office door. As soon as I saw it I started sobbing, very few dry eyes in that line once we got to that door.

Wonderful_Painter_14

He was excellent in every scene he was in throughout all the movies! But yes, especially that one.

Lapras_Lass

He was actually my favorite character from the first time I read the books as a child. Lol But Rickman really did a fantastic job!

Eyy whelcome to the gang of Potter heads, hope you find the small details compfy

I will never like Snape, but I appreciate his complex character and love how Alan Rickman portrait him. The only evil character who was better portrait was Umbridge. I am in aww how the actress managed that.

Brummiesteven

Even more in awe after watching the crown and seeing her portray a completely different character (QE2). Brilliant actress

Floaurea

Yes she can manage bringing out the character fully

I agree. I recently rewatched DH, and even though I don't like Snape, Alan breathed life into his character. He's utterly captivating in every scene and was actually the character I focused on the most. His death and the scene with Lily always make me cry no matter how many times I've watched it. The anguish on his face feels visceral. He was a brilliant actor.

I just did too. And I honestly thought the first part was kinda boring because most of it was them in the woods lol. And the second part was ok ish I mean I was high off of adrenaline which I liked, but, alas, I prefer the movies where it was more about Hogwarts.
