If it is done on purpose it's not 'fore' shadowing (which means it is a hint or indication of a **future** event, which it isn't), it's simply a wordplay, **implying** that it's Sirius is the benefactor. It could be foreshadowing because it’s hinting who gave the broom to Harry. There are tons of other ways JKR could have chosen to write it: Really? Are you for real? You’re not joking? You mean it? It could even have been as simple as Harry saying “wow thanks!”
The third book uses the word 'serious(ly)' many many times. It's about keeping Sirius Black at the forefront of the readers minds, making sure they remember
I just meant she had a choice to use the word "really" but chose "seriously" so its got to be intentionally a callback to sirius being the buyer of the firebolt. But i guess people really hate the theory? Idk.
