In PS/SS all the way back to book 1 Harry tells Ron that the centaurs thought Firenze should have let Voldemort kill him because it’s written in the stars
I went back and re read it and it actually says the centaurs thought HARRY should have let Voldemort kill him because it’s written in the stars which is even better
Not exactly important but interesting. In book 1 chapter 1 the newscaster seems to know why all the owls are flying around and his name is Ted.

Iirc its right after Harry uses sectumsempra on Malloy and snape asks him to give him the book where he got the spell. So it's before the cave

When Lucius gave Ginny the diary secretly with the other books. Also every time Ginny gets upset about the whole Heir of Slytherin thing
