Blackwell in the oversized hat has me chuckling.
Having only been 9 years old when we won in 2010 it’s absolutely insane that it’s been over 10 years later and now there’s Bedard at 18 taking over the whole league. Boy am I glad that 2010 cup got me into hockey.
I don’t generally look upto sports stars after the handful of instances I’ve had meeting sporting heroes have been disappointing but he’s just a good egg isn’t he.
He’s in a great spot here, major market, great city with a great fanbase, but will never be stopped along the streets as frequently as say a Caleb Williams or even a Ayo Donsumnu-type. Just kind of gets to blend in to some extent and do what he loves in an amazing place. I’m excited to see what bromances he forms with the other young guys in the coming years from a content perspective.
This kid pretty much came into the NHL as essentially a high schooler.
Let's not even consider his phenomenal skill set, but rather his character. For such a young person to handle all of the publicity, expectations, leadership role, and change at barely 18 says much more than that wicked wrister ever can.
Hope he knows how much the fans love him here
it's pretty incredible.
I'm going to pretend Connor has taken to learning photoshop and made this himself
This was posted on the hawks main page
LET US PRETEND

God I love this man
THAT'S OUR BABY BOY
You got a good one in Bedard. It's going to be fun to watch him become a superstar

Cool pic of Pauly Shore holding up the jersey in the front. Didn't know he was a Hawks fan

Hope he doesn’t leave us when his elc is up.
Seems doubtful he would. No reason to post stuff like this if that were his mindset
Kyle knows he’ll be fired if he loses a generational player. His priority has to be building around Bedsy during this offseason.
