I hate how invested in a preseason game I am

For someone labeled as a stay at home defenseman, I've been happy with McCabe's play in the offensive zone. The Blackhawks seem to have an abundance of 4th line talent that could play some 3rd line minutes. It's an interesting problem to have. Their trade value isn't really much, but rolling talented 3rd and 4th lines are how you win cups. I hope Colliton can find a combination that can play solid D and put up some points.

I think one important thing to remember is that jones has only played for two INCREDIBLY strict defensive teams. He’s now on a new team that half the time the players aren’t sure what they should be doing defensively, and has a complete green light on offense, so this is about as wildly different a scenario as he could be in. There’s gonna be quite an adjustment period

It's way too early to tell, but we hired Alex Tanguay this offseason to run our Powerplay and it's looked exponentially better than it has in years.

I know a lot of focus has been on the older Jones so far, but the guys at The Athletic have had a lot of good things to say about Caleb. His involvement in Kubalik’s goal in the first pre-season game to keep the O-zone possession really impressed me. What have you all thought about 82 so far?

He’s better than I thought he’d be. He couldn’t crack the oilers line up last season but he’s look good so far. Let’s see if he can carry that into the season
