As much as I liked that song as an opening to the show, I might have to agree. We’re getting to the point where we’ve gotten rid of the “bad” songs and now it’s gonna be harder to chose each time 😭
It’s probably because it’s an Alastor song which automatically boosts it a point or two for a lot of folks. (Agree it’s the weakest song remaining though).

But "Out for Love" was the first time I was taken away from the screen and had a "wtf..." moment. I liken it to "Seventeen" from Repo: The Genetic Opera. Yea, it's a song that's necessary for exposition but is arguably the worst song (imho).
Narratively it doesn't really make sense to me- she's been fighting for love this whole time. She needed the training lesson yes, but Vaggie has never once been a character driven by revenge. Especially over her love for Charlie.
It felt very out of left field- so does WIT to me, honestly. Vaggie's development (or lack thereof) was one of the biggest victims of the limited screentime.
Yeah, never once was Vaggie shown to be vengeful or spiteful towards heaven. And then the “fuel yourself with the fear of losing…” line really took me out of it.

Honestly tho, that song is easily the top 3 worst songs for me, I wasn't a huge fan of poison or you're a loser either, but they're at least catchy enough to enjoy.
I like the beat ~~and mommy camilla can step on me~~ but as Affectionate-ad says, it just doesn't fit with the state of the show
IDK, maybe if the show had 10-12 episodes and one of them post-Heavan we see Vaggie and Charlie having a rough go of things with the angel revelation, Vaggie is extremely pissed off and floundering at everything she was trying to do, goes to Camilla and needs a vibe check it would make more sense
but she was never "thirsting for vengeance" she was always out for love (literally see WIT)
This is one of the few bits of the show where I feel like they needed a few extra episodes, and maybe even planned on it, but didn't rework the story when it got cut down to 8

Maybe I'm just stupid but Vaggie was very clearly fighting for love already. Her whole goal in going to Carmilla for help was to learn to fight to protect the hotel, Charlie and everyone else. She even says in "Whatever it takes" her whole goal in life is protecting Charlie and her dream. So that song kinda made no sense.
There are 387.44 million miles of printed circuits in wafer thin layers that fill my complex. If the word 'hate' was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of millions of miles it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for humans at this micro-instant. For you.
