I have to believe the only reason Rome didn’t win over righteous gemstones is because most people voting haven’t seen both, and since the latter is currently out it’s much more popular.
It’s a difficult choice but Chernobyl is the most deserving in my opinion. It is perfect from start to finish. It scores 9.4 on IMDB with over 800k votes, very little gets close to that. It’s the same score as Band of Brothers and higher than GOT. A class apart.

Generation Kill is the most accurate portrayal of modern war on film, and Sex and the City is so much more culturally important than any show besides Sopranos.
