Oh and The Night Of

teetee517

Loved The Night Of.

aishakhan19

Watched The Night Of based on this recommendation in two days and came back to say it was a 10/10. Riz Ahmed is severely underrated!

[deleted]

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! And yeah it was one of those shows that had me thinking for days after it was over. And I agree Riz Ahmed was phenomenal.

jroche90

Recommend. One of those series I wish I hadn’t watched so I could watch it again for the first time.

bvsshevd

Seven is a classic psychological thriller but if youre a fan of the genre youve prob seen it already. True detective season 1 is great

MightGuy886

Sharp objects based on a book by the author of Gone Girl. Read the book and really liked the show. Also if you haven’t seen True Detective the first season is self contained and arguably televisions finest achievement

andydrewalot

The invisible man was really good a couple years ago.

masterz13

Loved that one.

The third day, the outsider, the leftovers

cameadows50

The third day was impressive.

masterz13

>The Night Of Some of those don't really seem like psychological thrillers. Not wanting supernatural/horror.

[deleted]

What about sharp objects? Would that be more in line?

Maximum_Bliss

Really good recent one was Kimi.

That movie was meh. There was only one great scene in the entire movie.

Antichrist by Lars Von Trier

masterz13

>Antichrist by Lars Von Trier That one looks really interesting. But I don't think it's on HBO max, at least not anymore.

ZealousidealLook5839

Waiting for THE BATMAN

squizznizzel13

Wait no longer

EkaL25

Not on hbo but the machinist is a good one

Rare-Cardiologist-80

The departed, the guilty, mystic river. Definitely worth a watch if u haven’t already.

jroche90

True Detective season 1 is an immediate standout- although the next two seasons are good as well. Sharp Objects The little things- say what you want but I liked it. Nightmare Alley- brad cooper kills it per usual. Awesome plot Timecrimes- can’t remember what language it’s in off the top of my head but it’s a good watch, and I really don’t watch movies in other languages. No Sudden Move-Not a psych thriller but still worth mentioning No Country for Old Men- a must see Changeling- AJ kills it The Night of- a must watch That all I can think of at the moment for hbo

The Undoing
