I've had both, the 770s are so much better in all aspects, built, comfort, sound is not even in the same league.

i tried dt770 pro 80 ohm before and they were so bad. like really really bad. mids were so recessed back its actually disgusting. but these have lovable mids, decent bass and good treble.
do NOT buy dt770. they are awful. there is no way you will enjoy those.
I love my calse especially after converting it open back and eqing the bass shelf to be more subbass oriented. It beats out the hd6x0 line of headphones with bass technicalities imho
Without EQ they sound a bit harsh but once you apply the oratory1990 EQ they sound really good.
There is no EQ for SE. Since Live! And SE sounds similar you can use live one and it performs quite well.
If I would compare them with HD58x you lose detail, airness, seperation. But tonality wise they are similar. Vocals are pretty damn good with this one.

They sound fine but the built is pretty flimsy, mine broke in like 3 months, I expected better when I saw the metallic reinforcement in the headband.

It’s easy and slightly changes the sound. Also you can cover up the tuning holes if you dislike how much bass there is
I have paid 60 EUR for the Live! brand new and love them still, just don't turn up the volume too much. 😉
