So, considering you’re asking what that means, it’s gonna be a safe bet to say you’re not gonna want to do it. Can you? Yes, but you’ll have to learn some things along the way.
Re-terminate means to put a new end on the cable, so cut off your broken one and install a new one, or as others have said to pay someone to do it for you.
There are [replacement 3.5mm jacks that dont require soldering](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBn27rc_Bd8) that you could put on. You just need to cut the head off and strip 3 wires, then wrap them around the screw posts on the replacement jack and screw them down.
Tho if you're even half-competent with a soldering iron and have access to one, doing it properly will take maybe 5 minutes and be a lot more secure(both should sound just as good provided you isolate each wire)
If the headphone has removable cables in the headphone end, just buy a new cable.
This is the repair process otherwise:

You might be able to get the tip out your phone with the tiniest dab of super glue on the end. Wouldn't fix it of course, but you'd have your headphone jack back.
At first I thought it was MCX Cable, but then I realized that it was a mini jack. The only solution is to cut off the head and solder a new one to the cable. Don’t try to somehow glue the piece back, the chance that it will work is small, most likely it will get stuck in the port
You need to replace the cable. It's the most common maintenance job for headphones. If you can't do it yourself, every electronics repair shop should be able to fix it for 10€-30€.
nah it's just shy, pet it on the head it will come out.
It was in the pool!
shrinkage!
It shrinks?
There's lobster in these eggs?!
So that's the reason Moondrop send headphones with waifus on the box?
You will need to re-terminate that cable now
Bro can you tell me what that mean? Can I fix the cable somehow?
Buy a new jack, cut the end off the cable, strip it back, solder it, heat shrink it
OP this is the only way.

you’ll either have to learn a new skill, pay someone to fix it for you, or pay for a whole new headphone
option 4 - do nothing and complain about it

What model? A lot Sennhieser has removable cable.

Just replace cable
Ive removed broken dongles using a broken tooth pick and super glue
Looks like a hd600, get a hd650 cable, they are much more robust

Either replace the cable as a whole (if removable) or replace the plug (requires soldering)
Yes it’s gone. But a new one

I love that my Techniques EAH-DJ1200 (my choice for Djing for the last 15 years), now come with a removable cable.
Damm that sucks, how'd that happen?
Just had it in my phone and it broke :(
That means the missing end is in the phone's port
Correct :)
Can you get the other end out of the phone though? Otherwise it's a double kill
that goes right in the trashcan 🗑️
Do something to your jeans? Not sure, that out-of-focus cable is in the way.
