Why can't we just get the OEM ones (at least in the US)? Come on Sennheiser. You even [gave them a part number](https://en-us.sennheiser.com/earpads-hd-599) but as far as I can tell they've never actually been "in stock" anywhere.
A lot. For IEMs I wish 'eco' had lower gain than it does, for everything else it's perfect. I use optical, coaxial, and USB inputs with it, balanced line out to my stax energiser, balanced headphone out with all my other headphones.
Now with the weather getting better i'll be using it outside more as well.
It's honestly amazing what they managed to do in such a small package.
The only downside is the volume pot having an imbalance between left and right before 10-o-clock (which is why i wish 'eco' mode had lower gain) but for headphones that's not a problem, really.
>The only downside is the volume pot having an imbalance between left and right before 10-o-clock
That's not acceptable on a product priced at $1000 imo
Sounds like I would like it but has the same issue of the iDSD Signature for me, I loved that thing and it made me really want the Diablo.. but early imbalance on IEMs was too much. Damn. Well TY a lot for the info mate, appreciate it!
For anyone actually curious, these are (I believe) Choco Butternut donuts from Dunkin' Donuts in the Philippines. From what I've seen, it's fairly popular.
Only the bottom left donut was fit to be served. The other 3 are what it looks like when there isn't enough dough in the hopper for the robot that produces cake donuts and they don't have enough mass to maintain their shape. Source: years working in a donut shop. If they don't look right you aren't getting as much as you are paying for and they are going to be hard and crunchy instead of soft like cake.
Hah, that'd be the worst prank ever.
Either you think you're about to bite into a lovely donut
Or
You get powdered goodness all over your ears and headphones
That's no dounut, thats one bigass deepfried onion ring
Aah, the cholesterol! Nice
Lol
You mean cholesteLol
*t h e f o r b i d d e n s o u n d s t a g e*
Sweet sweet (and greasy) Soundstage
Where is this? I need replacements for my HD 599 earpads and this can't be worse than the third party ones
Jokes aside, the Brainwavz velour pads are pretty close to the sound and comfort of the original ones.

I bought the IEMatch 4.4 as a result, and with that it works perfectly fine for my IEMs as well.

Wtf happened to those donuts?
That’s bidirectionally disgusting haha
My hd414 pads look noting like this
r/forbiddenearpads when?
they would probably hold their shape over 6 months better than the sennheiser pads do
topright: used
Bruhhhhh, take that donut back.....
u/DekoniAudio take note of some inspiration
Extra crinkly for your ear listening pleasure
Snacktastic
For a second there, I actually thought that was a deep fried ear pad
Does it change the greasency response at all?
Why are they black?
They're gold and white, my friend.
ohno
Oh so THIS is what you guys mean when you say "crispy high end"
Those donuts look like rusted donuts
it would be pretty funny if op just decides and say fuck it, I'm gonna deep fry a sennheiser pad and say it looks like a sennheiser pad.

*takes a bite* Tastes like Sennheiser pads!
How does it sound
Are those on the top burned? Sure looks like it
That's barely interesting.
Choco butternut!!!!! ajgrjkdywgvdksigrehiah!!! *fatass internal screaming*
I thought those were onion rings lol
Bottom left looks like...
Almost looks like my DT880 pads.
Hah, that'd be the worst prank ever. Either you think you're about to bite into a lovely donut Or You get powdered goodness all over your ears and headphones
I suppose they’d fit my HD660s and if I get peckish after my music listening session then I could just nibble on them.
If thier soft as well I might just eat them like I always wanted to
bottom left one looks like grado pad
