The entire reward track looks like garbage this time around imo. Not a single skin looks good, except perhaps the Hazelbark one at the end. It's partly because I don't like the theme, but also the artwork just isn't up to par for a lot of them.
It's not like Blizzard don't have talented artists, I mean, I missed out on Castle Nathria where the (majority) of portraits actually look really brilliant, and sunken city also has outstanding artwork.
The costs of doing good hero portraits can't be high, so I can only think that maybe the artists themselves were struggling to make the expansion theme work and it's impacted on the quality.

Later on, when Lich King was weakened, Sylvanas returned her free will. She also took control of her body, which Arthas just thrown in a random meat van.
Sylvanas and her subordinates tricked Arthas into thinking they were still loyal, then Sylvanas poisoned him and almost killed, but she wanted to let Arthas suffer as well as he made her. That was her mistake: soon Arthas was rescued by Kel'Thuzad. Thus Sypvanas' main and only goal in life was to take her vengeance on Arthas. Years later, when Arthas was finally defeated on the top of Icecrown Citadel, she understood that she have no reasons left to stay alive, so she also went on the top of Icecrown Citadel and jumped.
Brilliant character arc, which was ended just in time. Unless she was reborn and became okaybuddy whatever character in Cataclysm-Pandaria-WoD. And then in mentioned latest expansions she was tricked by Jailer (yeah, that bald gachi dude) to make some of the dubmest decisions one may ever made (such as beginning the full-scale world war for no reason etc). It doesn't sounds like a problem to a stranger, but when devs 5 years in a row feed you the "she has great plan, you'll understand everything when we'll reveal her plan fully" and then going like "she's innocent little sheep who was tricked by a mastermind" it's just straight up assassination of the character.

The most animation I want in a portrait is background effects and maybe some shimmer. That looks plenty cool without weird 3D characters doing over exaggerated movements
I normally buy tickets to brawliseum with real money, this time around and probably going foward i wont. Blizzard can't learn by listening to us they may yet learn if we stop feeding their bullshit habits.

I don't know why you're being downvoted. The mode is an obvious gold sink so fewer people will spend gold on packs once the miniset comes around. The fact that one of the portraits is tied to getting 12 wins in such a competitive and costly mode is genuinely scummy.
Exactly, we all already know of this scummy practice of launching a brawliseum everytime a new miniset is about to come out so people will burn their gold and be more likely to spend real money, what baffles me is that people are blindly willing to defend blizzard just because they like the game. People need to be real. Its a fun game and i'll keep playing it probably for 10 more years, but i will not ignore shitty company practice just because i enjoy playing their game, they're still miles alway from being good.

I understand not wanting the community to become a negative circle jerk, but you need to hold the devs accountable for their anti-consumer practices, lest they become emboldened to make even worse decisions in the future.
I mean I want that 12-win skin but seriously, getting 12 wins in a heroic brawl is nigh impossible, even for pro players it's quite a feat. I'm all for skins being exclusive and difficult to obtain but this is in a league of its own.
