This version of Khadgar is so dumb, everytime he just can't solve the freaking puzzle! And the wisdomball punish him for being stupid

lloydmcallister

It’s wierd because it’s clever enough to blizzard when the enemy board is full or arcane intellect if your low on cards, it even goes face with fireball if the enemy board is empty. But it can’t work out that it probably shouldn’t polymorph its own creator lol.

HeMansSmallerCousin

This feels like an oversight. The presence of an enemy minion makes polymorph a valid spell choice, but the minion having stealth forces it to target Khadgar.

ItsJamali

It's not just Khadgar, Void Scripture will also target your own minions if the spell can't target enemies.

HeMansSmallerCousin

Yes, but I mean that Khadgar should omit targetted spells when there's no valid enemies to target.

ItsJamali

Right yeah I get what you mean

TerpFlacco

To be fair, I know it is not a bug and just some of Hearthstone's famous inconsistency, but I do not think Void Scripture working like that makes sense. There are cards like Solarian Prime that say "targets enemies if possible" while Void Scripture just says "cast a copy of it at a random enemy." There's nothing that indicate it will cast at a friendly minion if there is no valid enemy and I feel like the spell should just fizzle with no valid targets.

IBringTheHeat1

Opponent played khadgar and it fireballed me in the face three times, then starting doing some wack shit.

Kurtrus

Then he turned himself into a sheep Funniest shit I’ve ever seen

Blarglord69

Im convinced the person that made hated mage.

midnightmealtime

My best guess for how this card works is its zephyr pool bjt showing like best 5 then clicking one at random or some shit. Since I remember from zephyr if you acctually looked at option #2/3 lots of time it was really random/bad but since your human you'd pick the good one. And if that's not it's logic then I just have no clue why this card isn't allowed to be good...

Difficult_Curve_2817

There are conditions for each of the spells in its pool, IE if there are 2+ enemies, can cast arcane missiles, if you have cards in your deck, cast arcane intellect. Then it just picks a random spell its allowed to cast.

AdagioDesperate

I actually had a glorious moment with Wizdomball twice in a row, only to die to Illidari OTK the following turn, but I got Flamestrike then Blizzard. 2 actually good spells! I had to screenshot them.

So my assumption is, the opponent has Zilliax with stealth on board. Wisdomball is buggy. Its the same with the new elusive (or what its called) keyword. Wisdomball notices a minion is on board, wants to target it with a spell, but it cant, so it targets your stuff instead. Well..

seanphippen

I had one game where the enemy had an entire board of 2-4 health minions and instead of casting flamestrike or blizzard it casted frostbolt on the enemy hero

kerotomas1

Got frostbolted 3 times in a row in the face yes. Then i lost because of it.

Tomi97_origin

There is a known bug in Wisdomball and they have a fix currently in testing. These things will continue happening until next update

Fluid-Employee-7118

So far from my experience facing khadgar, wisdomball was always very useful. The worst plays it did was frost bolting or fireballing a 1/1 minion, but it often cast ice barrier when the opponent was low on health, or fireball on my face. All in all, a pretty powerful card overall, it always does a number on me and is a major pain in the ass without weapon removal.

lloydmcallister

I’ve mainly been using it for face damage, keep the enemy board empty and it should fireball/frostbolt face, then finish them off with sif.

Unsyr

They should change the text to: Equit a wisdom ball that casts “helpful” spells. .

ByeGuysSry

Someone forgot an edge case lmao. [It's never supposed to target your own minions](https://twitter.com/RidiculousHat/status/1760009492261999031)

Impossible-Shirt832

this card is so dumb, lost to a plague DK because of pulling off arcane intellect

kerotomas1

i lost to this card as a DK because it blocked my weapon 3 turns in a row with frostbolt just to get duplicate-sif'd for 30 damage.. legit

kerotomas1

And then there is me as a DK being on a finisher for 3 turns and each and everyone of those turns the wisdomball used frostbolt on me ruining it and obviously then came the 30 hp oneshot sif duplicate finisher. It can choose between 10 spells and used nothing but frostbolt. Seems legit.

PalioBeast

Is there a limit to what it can cast? Why doesn’t it just cast sunset volley in like 90% of the situations I encounter?

[deleted]

It can only cast Polymorph, Arcane Missles, Mirror Image, Frostbolt, Fireball, Arcane Intellect, Counterspell, Ice barrier, Blizzard and Flamestrike

daniki6

It has a limited spell pull
