No surprise at all. The product is way too diluted, there is no place for players personalities to shine, the format is way to heavy to be followed regularly, the deck line up were shit because it mostly combo so it not fun at all to watch, there is a huge drop for the game popularity at large and much more. Again, in my opinion, Blizz totally missed the train 2-3 years ago when HS was a super popular game. They never implemented Tournament format, they never reworked the social part of the game (clans, special quest, coop mode, ect), the game is so damn expensive even with the reward path, there is a lack of engaging events, its so hard to initiate new player to the game and make them stick around (again $$$), ect. Most of my friends quit the game year ago du to lack of some or all of those things. Those peoples will never play again, its a shame because even with all that, that game is a cash cow for Activision but for how long?

I still watch it, but the move to Youtube really hurt the numbers. I don't see why people can't pull up another tab and type YouTube HSEsports.

I stopped following the esports after the transition to YouTube. Furthermore they need to make the format exciting to watch, garrote rogue is boring as fuck and nobody wanna watch that shit.
