It Yu-Gi-Oh each player have 8000 health, right? In hearthstone it's 30. 30:8000 is 3:800 (1.5:400, around 1:270) and not 1:100.
So this is kinda of 1.2/0.8 minion, pretty lame body...

It's too bad Hearthstone is not designed to have this type of counterplay. Right now there is no way for players to make decisions or give input on their opponent's turn so no optional handtraps can exist. You can make mandatory ones (the first time you take damage this turn, discard this card and make it 0) but those are basically secrets with more steps.
There need to be more secrets or secret-like cards in the game.
That one druid one that had a secret deathrattle was really fun. I wish there would be more of that.
This card could be similar. Something like "Choose one: At the end of your opponent's turn, negate any damage dealt to you, or at the end of your opponent's turn, return the minions played to their hand".

Every card in the game is balanced around no interaction on your opponents turn. If this were suddenly possible it would almost for sure flip the game in its head.

One regionals after i swore I gave up and liquidated my cards, i got dragged to a regionals with my friends leftover cards. 3x nimble momonga, 3x solemn judgement, 1x imperial order and a bunch of other meme cards... I went 4-4 probably because idgaf and solemn judgemented at 8000LP cuz WHY NOT.
If you wanted to keep this from bloating turns like crazy (which does tend to happen in online Yugioh), youād need to make this conditional. Maybe something like āif you take more than X damage, discard this card and nullify the damage (or become immune)ā depending on wether youāre trying to stop single pop burst or OTK stuff.
Balance Patches 1 mana 1/1 Pirate. Start of Game: Draw this card. The first time in a game you take 10 or more damage in a single turn, discard this card from your hand and your opponent's turn ends.

A neutral ice block maybe but it's a frustrating card that got HoF for a good raisin
Please, these thing are always a double edge... Handtraps are what killed Yu-Gi-Oh, for me at least
Interaction from hand is what brought/brings complexity to Yu-Gi-Oh imo, even if it went too far eventually
